I really love this pencil. Really cost efficient compared to the actual Apple Pencil. If I did repurchase, I’d get the white one. The battery lasts a while but not too, too long, before you know it, you have to charge it again. Good thing it’s doesn’t take more than an hour to charge again which is nice. The accuracy of it is good and writes well. It doesn’t glitch on me or whatever and stays connected without it ghosting over the screen constantly.

No Need to Buy The Apple Pencil!

I purchased the ESR Geo Digital Pencil to replace my lost Apple Pencil. I am so happy that I did not spend the money to purchase another Apple Pencil. The ESR is a very worthy replacement. It has a long battery life, smooth writing, natural pencil-like feel (it looks very similar to the Apple Pencil). It has palm rejection and tilt sensitivity but lacks pressure sensitivity which I don’t need so that’s not a dealbreaker for me. It’s easy to use and connectivity is a breeze. It also comes with 3 extra tips. While it will adhere to your iPad magnetically, it charges only by USB-C. Generally, the ESR Pencil closely replicates the Apple Pencil. Regardless of the task - taking notes, navigating the iPad, etc., the ESR performs reliably and is comfortable so I don’t experience fatigue. Overall I am very satisfied with this purchase as it is a great quality alternative to the Apple Pencil at a fraction of the price.

Decent Stylus

I was looking for something similar to an Apple Pencil, without the price tag. This one connects very easily via Bluetooth. It doesn’t work if not connected and powered on, so keep that in mind. If the battery dies on the pencil, it is now a stick lol. But it has a quick charge via USB-C (took about 15 minutes to go from 11-100%). The little silicone cover they put over the charging port is not great. It ripped the first time I tried removing it. Oh well. It’s just a small dust cover anyway. It has a magnetic design that allows it to be stored on my iPad mini A17 Pro in the slot in my case. It’s secure. I am only really using this as a stylus/mouse. I haven’t tried any drawing or writing or anything else needing precise accuracy, so I can’t get into details with that. It does easily hit the small links in websites. It makes little chimes when it connects to your device so you can tell it’s connected. It sleeps when it’s not being used. It has a button on the top of the pencil, like a multifunction button. It’s the power button, when the pencil is on, it functions as a “home” button, bringing you to your Home Screen with a single push. I don’t think this is a flaw for the pencil, but more for iPad OS. When using the pencil, and you need to type, the keyboard that pops up when you click into a text field, is about the size of the keyboard on my iPhone. Not ideal for the larger iPad screen. So I just turn the pencil off if I need to type. Overall, it’s a decent device accessory that I would buy again if I needed to. I just provided the white one, but there are different colors available. If you are like me, just looking for a slightly advanced stylus, and don’t need the different pressure settings of the Apple Pencil Pro, go with this one. Saves some money over the Apple Pencil USB-C.

Why buy anything else?

I never used that ability to tap to undo or whatever on my Apple Pencil. That being said, this pencil also has those features. But as I didn’t use that anyway, this pencil is ridiculously amazing and cost effective. It pairs soooo easily, works perfectly, is prettier than Apple pencils but has the same shape, comes with 3 additional tips, has palm rejection and is basically the same as buying an Apple Pencil for a fraction of the price. I lost my Apple Pencil which is why I bought this one. The reason I bought this was cuz I kept losing my pencil cuz the magnet where you charged it wasn’t strong enough and the pencil always fell off. So, instead, I just got a little pencil holder for the back of my iPad and slip this pencil right in. I can’t express enough how much I love it. If you are an artist, it might not work as well for you cuz I don’t think it has has pressure sensitive lines that get thinner or thicker with more pressure but I hate that anyway and it didn’t work for me so, again, this is the BEST!

Best pencil you could buy

Never lost it it’s light weight has an awesome battery life there aren’t any problems in how it draws and it looks like the real Apple Pencil. I have a 2020 iPad 8th gen, and the pen works well with it I have a paper feel screen protecter which makes the tips wear down a bit but they are easy to replace. This one doesn’t adjust stroke to pressure but over all really good for great price.

Only lasted a few months

I purchased this pencil in April 2026 to use for Canva projects. It charges insanely fast. The first months of use were wonderful, but fast forward to August and it is no longer working. I have troubleshooted the pencil multiple times, and replaced the Nib with ones that originally came with the pencil. I’ve had no success. The pencil still comes on and will bring me to the Home Screen or app menu when I tap or double tap, but it will not write or select anything at all. Very upsetting. I loved this pencil and wish I could have gotten more than four months of use out of it.
