This case protected my iPhone 14 after a 155 foot fall from the top of a roller coaster when it began a vertical, hairpin downward dive. It had to have struck metal on the way down, but luckily ended up landing on grass. Besides the sturdy outer shell, the case has its own built-in screen protector. I think this was the key to returning my phone to me in immaculate condition. Had the screen protector been one of those that are stuck to the screen as an add-on to the case I don’t think the screen would’ve survived since the case impacted on the bottom right corner. ... show more

Trying this again because my first review supposedly didn’t follow guidelines. After reading guidelines again I see no reason for it to violate them but am re reviewing as the product was not good and others might benefit. The case is for a iPhone 14 pro max. This is the only iPhone of its size so the fact it even fit on the phone was assurance it is in fact meant for this phone, I’m not just going on word of the seller here. Everything is good other than the space for the power button which is about a millimeter or two lower than the button on the phone. The hole is lower than the bottom of the hole for the volume buttons on the other side when the bottom of the power button sits just higher than the volume buttons . Clearly that’s not going to work so it presses the power button the entire time which makes the phone not work right and do strange things . Obviously that means it’s useless and I’m attempting to return it. Due to the nature of installation some parts of the kit, such as the camera protectors and cleaning wipes, cannot be reused or returned in usable condition so I’ll have to see if it gets rejected or not. Other reviews do not mention this issue so it’s a possibility I got a bad one that slipped through whatever quality controls they use. Tend to doubt that due to how they manufacture things but it’s always possible. Due to this I cannot recommend the phone and would advise to go with a different case as I am going to need to do. Sadly I need to await the return money to afford another case so I’m now without a case for an unknown amount of time which I was hoping to avoid with this rather expensive phone. As always your mileage may vary, etc, etc… bottom line is the case I received did not work on the phone as the listing claimed. Other reviews were mostly positive so it was unexpected. After a year, I've dropped my phone many times and not a single crack. Not even a hairline. A couple of things: one of the covers for the camera lens did crack, but it still stays on. None of the camera covers falls off. The disheartening main issue is that the stand to prop the phone up is starting to come loose. A tiny pin keeps the stand on a hinge (like what you see on a door hinge), and I see it coming out. The stand has come off completely, and I was able to put the pin back by using, but I have to keep pushing it back in. So eventually I know that the pin will completely come off again, and I know I'll definitely lose it this time. Then I'll have a gap and more dirt will get in, I would think, and my case would look damaged. Lastly, since it's a 360-degree case, dust gets in there, and I'll have to completely remove the whole thing to do a good wipe down. All that being said, I'm glad I got it and will only get this type of case because the screen does not crack at all. I love this the most, as I don't need to worry about buying replacement screen protectors each time I drop it. ... show more
