I have already tested out one iPad case already and this is my second one for this specific model. I truly love how how it truly fits my iPad really great and that it also has a slot that will have the pencil covered once the entire case (keyboard attached) is closed. It's even sturdy and has a lightweight feel to it when the keyboard is on and/or off the case entirely. I have a pink iPad which let me go with the pink case which goes really great with the color of the iPad better than the last iPad case I was using. It works great for everything I need it to and when I want to just use my iPad as a secondary screen for my MacBook Air, it is great with the stand that folds for two different options for viewing pleasure. The keyboard is totally amazing as it is detachable! It is even easy to pair with iPad, and unlike my last iPad case, it will add the battery life into the battery widget on the iPad so that way you know when your keyboard needs charged (on top of the light that changes when it needs charged). When typing on this keyboard the keyboard doesn't seem so loud as I type, which is great because I do not like a loud keyboard personally. It does not have a backlight, which doesn't really matter at the moment but was a plus with my other case. Overall I love how it looks when I use my iPad over my MacBook, which also feels like I am using a smaller laptop. If you are looking for an iPad case that has great looks, an amazing keyboard that is also detachable, and that makes it not feel heavier than an actual MacBook then this is the case you need.

I’ve been searching for the perfect case since I got my iPad & I think I’ve FINALLY found it!!! This Flex Keyboard by ESR is perfect!!! It has all the right shortcut keys I’ve been looking for, the right trackpad & the clicky buttons!! I’m so beyond happy with this case & I literally haven’t even had it a half a day yet!!! I beleive I just got it less than 2hrs ago even. The magnets are super-strong & hold tight, both the magnets attaching the keyboard & the magnets keeping it closed are impressive in my opinion. A definite must buy if you’re looking for a great case for not a lot of money. Besides the pencil holder magnet not being very strong (at least for the ESR Geo Digital Pencil), this case is perfect!!! The “writing angle” is so comfortable & ergonomic & the “typing angle” is perfect too!! ESR knocked it outta the park for this one, that’s for sure!! BUY IT!! YOU DEFINITELY WON’T BE DISAPPOINTED!!! UPDATE: I’ve only had this case for 4 days, but I felt the need to make an updated review, because this case is incredible!! Sometimes things seem great, until you use them for a few days & realize they’re actually awful!! That is definitely NOT the case with this case!!! It literally works perfectly!!! There isn’t a thing I’d change, except I might add backlighting, but that is definitely not an issue or doesn’t take away from the amazingness of the case. I just love it more & more every day!!! ESR nailed it with this one!! Other companies need to take lessons on how to develop their trackpads, because none out there work nearly as well & flawlessly as the ESR Flex Keyboard trackpad!!!

This case is sturdy and serves its purpose. However, I came from an Inatek case and this is NOT that. CONS: **Limited flex- It is very fixed and rigid when you open kick stand. Only one option.I can unattach my keyboard and flip the tablet upside down but that won’t work for FaceTime calls or if I am sitting at a table and just want to adjust the flex. **No backlight option on keyboard but i was not looking for that. PROS: ** Sturdy, Detachable keyboard, pen holder,adjustments can be made in settings to trackpad sensitivity and speed, Easy to apply and connect, not really heavy. Aside from the adjustment issue that I have, This is still a great keyboard case! I would recommend.

If you just picked up a new iPad Air and don't want to drop $300 on Apple's official setup, this is exactly what you need instead. For around $30, it delivers an incredible amount of value. The Pros: -Perfect Fit & Access: The rugged case fits the M4 Air perfectly. All ports and buttons are fully accessible, and the Apple Pencil Pro snaps securely right over the charging magnet. -Great Typing Feel: The keyboard is quiet but tactile—definitely not squishy. -Versatility: The keyboard is completely removable, which is huge if you just want to use the tablet without a keyboard taking up your whole desk space. -Build Quality: The magnets are surprisingly strong, and the folio cover feels premium. The stand only has two fixed angles, but both are incredibly stable and perfect for desk use. The Cons: -The Trackpad: The trackpad does feel a bit cheap compared to premium options. It's totally usable and acceptable for the price point, but it's the one area where you can tell it's a budget device. Bottom Line: It obviously doesn't have every single premium bell and whistle of a $300 case, but it handles 90% of the job for a fraction of the cost. If you want a stable, protective, and functional workstation setup on a budget, this is a no-brainer.

I have the Apple Magic Keyboard. The best feature is that it’s covered with your iPad’s AppleCare. Also, you don’t need to charge it. However, besides the aforementioned and the status or aura you feel it being an iOS device, but it literally stops there. For the price and features, yes features. I know, right? Color options? More than Apple. Pencil holder built in. Apple? No. You will have to charge it. It’s a case and keyboard….its a mood. You’re welcome.

I’ll give this four stars for what it is. For the price, it is a pretty good keyboard with case. I like the fact that the keyboard could be detached while the case stayed on, so you can use it like a laptop or sit the iPad elsewhere and use the keyboard. It is easy to type on, ok build quality. Touchpad is responsive, easy to use. There were some cons that I ran into including: You can only “click” using the bottom 1/3 or so of the touchpad. The kickstand is not adjustable (Although you can lay it two different ways), No backlit keys, which I knew. I didn’t realize that ESR also has the Shift keyboard available for A16 that addresses these issues and at the time I ordered, was under $20 more. Higher build quality, 100% clickable touchpad, adjustable kickstand, backlit keys. To me it was well worth the extra $20 to return the Flex and get the Shift, but if you can live with these issues this is not a bad keyboard for the price.
