We bought this for our 9 year old grandson and it has met or exceeded our expectations. The 6ft model is big enough that he can enjoy it for many years. The blower is definitely sufficient for the pucks. We did buy better pucks/pushers, the ones included were very lightweight. The sounds/lights for scoring are fun but be aware that part does require batteries. The box arrived in great shape. The delivery was unusual, it was just dropped in front of our garage. I wish that the delivery driver had at least rang the doorbell. We looked out and saw it sitting in the middle of our back driveway! It was quite easy to put together, just follow instructions.

Like anything that gets stored in a warehouse and then shipped across the country, you can get broken items. I can live with that and either remedy myself or get a refund. Happened with this hockey table. Got the unit that has the table tennis top as a bonus. Comes in two pieces and one had a 12 inch crack in it. Table was still useable, though, and I could make a new piece out of plywood if I had to. BUT, I contacted Amazon and told them about it. Asked if I could get that piece replaced and they said no, but they did refund me a significant amount of money because it was damaged. I really appreciated this. Just know that when buying online you do take some risk. You have to just accept that or go to a brick and mortar store. Cons on this particular unit though: - Pucks, paddles, and such are junk. Do yourself a favor and buy nice quality sets on Amazon. They are inexpensive and make the game more enjoyable. - Directions to assemble are not easy to follow. Takes some intuition. Not recommended for inexperience furniture assemblers. Also, the pieces come pre drilled and some were not in the right places. Had to drill my own. Again, no big deal for someone that has done this type of assembly before. - The one single BS item....One of the pieces says ESPN on it and was upside down. We just put that one facing the wall so it didn't look silly. Didn't effect game play, obviously. - pucks fly off easily. not sure if it is the pucks or if the surface is uneven. Also, this happens when you really slam the puck, general easy back and forth and you are fine. Pros: - beautiful styling on the table - score keeper works perfectly and even has funny sounds. - small enough if you don't have a lot of room, but big enough that me (6'4) can barely reach the center line. Also, big enough that the table tennis is enjoyable. Its not even close to official ping pong size, but as a dual function unit it does the trick in a small space. If you have room build your own or buy a real ping pong table, my advice. - the height of the table is good for adults, but younger kids will struggle with reaching out to the middle if the puck gets stalled there. I gave my 5 year old a small step stool and then we can all play. - gets the kids off screen time, we all need this.

Wow, did I struggle with this purchase. It was hard for me to pick a table that would give me the right balance of quality for the money spent. I knew at this price point I wasn't getting arcade quality but I expected the puck to move freely and the system to function flawlessly. I knew I wouldn't spend a couple hundred dollars and I was resigned to get something in the $800-900. At the last minute; the one I "wanted" was sold out. So I chose this one. The table is mostly pressed wood as you would expect. I had no broken pieces from delivery and for that I felt lucky. The fan does the job and lifts the puck pretty well. I've played other tables where the fan was strong enough to slightly lift the handheld bumpers. ...this table will not do that. The manufacturer provides more than enough pucks to play and 4 bumpers. I was very happy to see the amount provided. I was REALLY glad to see the bumpers are made pretty well and didn't disappoint or feel cheap. I ordered some extra just in case and the ones provided are far superior to what I bought. The table itself is heavy. The shipping manifest says it weight 175 lbs in packaging. It wasn't terrible to set up but did take 2 people to do it properly and to flip. I may have spent 1 hour on the set up. Technically, there are two power plugs (mildly annoying); one for the air and one for the "game system/sound". I chose to attach the air to a smart plug so I can turn it on and off with Alexa. That was a cool touch that the kids enjoy. The "game system" (whatever you call it) has only a few options. Turn on/off/restart the game. Sound on/off. Then 3 game modes 3 min, 5 min and 7 min. This is probably the most annoying of all. Yes, the system has flawlessly tracked and displayed goals; so you can't complain about that but I hate that you only have 3 - 7 min games. We aren't playing with quarters and people stacked up behind us. Why must we be timed for our games and an unlimited time game won by points only not be an option. My 9 year old sometimes time out on a 7 min game and it doesn't feel as fun as a "true winner". Nothing about this system's features, hardware, or design is upsetting. I'm kinda glad I got "stuck" with this table and didn't end up spending $300+ dollars on a different table where this works perfectly fine for our needs. ...but it wasn't without a significant amount of reading reviews, etc. and a lot of anxiety prior to set up. Good overall product and really a fine balance on price and quality.

To begin I’ve had air hockey tables since I was 8. I’m 42 now. The overall construction is solid. The sensors for the score keeping are decent. That’s where the positives end. The table finish is subpar. It’s only been played on for 3 days and it’s all marked up. The air flow for the table size is weak. The worst part are the pucks the table come with are small and far to lightweight. You spend most of you time just trying to keep it on the table. Would not recommend this table for the price as it’s no better than a cheap 3 in 1 on quality.

Not hard to assemble, just took a while. Definitely a 2 person job. Table is great!! We set it up on Christmas eve and the kids (big and little) have not stopped playing. Only drawback- the pucks are Super light & keep flying off the table. Picked up a dz heavy ones for $12. Easy fix. Overall - GREAT value
