This is absolutely NOT a slam against this dirt bike as evidenced by the 5-star review. What I did not know before buying this bike is that there are ordnances where the bike will be used and it makes the bike unable to be driven by the intended individual it was purchased for. I believe it's stated about three times by the seller to check, but I thought it was already checked before I bought it. So save yourself a disappointed child/grandchild, etc., and find out the rules. Be aware it goes really fast and is extremely heavy! The Fed Ex delivery man needed help getting it out of his truck. (And you know all the stuff they need to be able to haul!) It's a lovely bike, however. It's very solid. Everything was carefully wrapped in the box. The instruction manual is very clear. It appears that it will be durable except it can't be used in the rain, when it's wet or foggy out--which is common for electric bikes. It was very expensive to ship (about $300) so I think we'll keep it until our granddaughter is old enough to ride it as I don't want to have to pay more shipping fees to return it. Just wanted to give you heads-up on the local rules for driving one of these dirt bikes. This is VERY substantial and looks like a small motor cycle. It has a headlight, tail light blinker and loud horn. Just not meant (at least in our area) to be ridden on the sidewalks or paths. Only in the street. There's also an age requirement. Would've been a great gift, but it is what it is.

I've only had the dirt bike for a day and rode it just a little around my neighborhood, but my first impressions are awesome! This thing has massive torque and takes off carring me (40yo M, 190 lbs) like its nothing. This is for my teenager but it can easily carry a larger adult. Assembly was pretty easy since it came with directions that include pictures. This bike does weigh about 125 lbs so assembling this solo would be a bit of a challenge. It's got a headlight, taillight, turn signals and even flashers. This thing could possibly be ridesn on the road if it came with a title or certificate of origin to get it registered with the DMV. Not sure how it holds up to traveling 53 miles on one charge but it got up to about 35 with me on it. It is nice that you can limit the top speed based off which setting you're in, just in case the riders not ready for higher speeds yet. The bike did come with a helmet but its honestly just a glorified bike helmet with a magnetic visor. Either way, I didn't buy the bike for the helmet so I'm really happy with it so far. From what I've read, I'd say this is a better and slightly cheaper Tuttio Soleil. UPDATE: I drove this thing around to test the maximum distance it could go. I rode it around in 3rd gear basically the whole way, primarily on some sidewalks (with just a little off-roading) and I was able to make it approximately 15 miles before it slowed me down and restricted me to 10mph. Thankfully I was in my neighborhood when it got that low but I would say that it definitely doesn't have the legs on it like they advertise.

Amazing bike overall, Love riding it, PERFECT size for me (I'm 4'11). And the power and acceleration is spectacular! Battery life is very decent. Came with 80% charge. I do hear a slight rattling sound, but that's probably from assembly and can be fixed easily. And one more thing is the very faint whistling sound, Wich may be from the motor. Assembly took about 3 hours. I HIGHLY recommend watching an assembly tutorial online. For the money, the value of this type of bike is amazing! Highly recommend this bike!

My bike is really good. I really love it. The only thing is that I only left four stars instead of five because it was supposed to come with a lock pad, but it didn't. I really love my bike. I ride it every single day, and the battery life is really, really good. The speed is really fast. The durability is something that made me cry; the assembly was the easiest thing I could ever do.

DO NOT DO IT!!!! This was supposed to be a present for my sons B-Day. All was ok until it arrived. After unboxing and assembling, the bike would not run. An error code 40 appeared on the controller. I did the Trouble shooting according to the manual and also from on line. The controller seemed to be the problem. Right out of the box.....Defective. Multiple attempts to reach the seller/amazon via email and phone. Negative contact on all counts. After two weeks of attempting to contact, I tried to return. They gave me a mailing label that I had to pay for. This is obviously a scam. How they are allowed to operate is beyond me. I had to dispute the charge to get my money back. The thing is still sitting here. DON'T DO IT......

genuinely shocked by how good the quality of this bike is. I'm 5'11 150lbs and bike is perfect height and power for me too. Never even had to use the instructions to assemble or start the bike. also didn't realize it comes with full headlight, blinkers front and back with horn (basically street legal other than mirrors)
