Great helmet. I traded up from my Miller classic and this makes it so much easier to see your puddle. I don't get the complaints about the grind button on the side of the helmet. Works great for me. The hood is comfortable. I just wish when I flipped it up it would stay up but the lock nuts don't seem to do much even full tight. ... show more

    • Best hood on the market today and worth more than they charge
This hood has been incredible for me. Mind you, I haven’t been using it that long but the clarity, comfortability , user friendly (meaning the grind function) this hood meets everything a welder would want in a hood. Even with pipe welding. I don’t do a lot of pipe, meaning it’s not daily but it works great. I’m blown away by what I can see with this hood that I didn’t see with my last hood which was the 3m speed glass. Don’t get me wrong, the speed glass was good but this tops even that for me. I love it. The field of vision is great. The clarity is right up there. Having the touch buttons is way better than the touch screen. I like using the yellow lens for certain welds to see contrast easier. Price is a bit high for the accessories however, so 3rd party options are better value for consumable parts. ... show more

Great helmet! Light weight, easy to adjust to get a good fit. Auto darkening works perfect, better than some others Ive used. Perfect helmet for TIG welding, which is primarily what I use it for, haven't tried it with MIG or ARC welding but I can't see any reason it work just as well under those conditions. It's pricey compared to others, but as my wife points out, I only have the one set of eyes so protect them. ... show more

This is a very good helmet! Very clear! The only reason it’s not five stars is because it has ESAB on it the price is pretty high. This seller had a decent price and the price point issue is strictly because of the name, Miller, ESAB, products are always overpriced.

Dope helmet, easy to use controls, looks great, adjustable headband and pads are very comfortable. Good battery life. Just need to adjust the wheels on the side every now and again to tighten it so it doesn’t fall down on its own if you’re bending over to pick something up. Definitely a good purchase ... show more
