It does put off a good amount of heat but it could be a tab bit better in cooler months. It does sit up a little higher than expected for our deck furniture. The first table arrived with a damaged top. Fed Ex issues with damage box not the seller. Contact the seller and they came through for a replacement in time for my family gathering. I have been looking to buy a fire pit table for a year, but some were small or the bigger ones were to expensive ,this is a good size you easily put six chair around it , the heat is great , I was thinking to get a glass wind proof for it when I ordered it and I am glad I didn't you really don't need it , I live on top of a hill and its windy some times and it's not a problem with this table , it was easy to assemble it took me about a hour to put it together, I enjoy it every night , one of the best things I have ever bought. ... show more

We are happy with this fire pit table. The size and color goes great with our back porch furniture. We purchased a month ago and have used several times. The igniter does not always work but a lighter applied the gas works fine.
