  • Ernie Ball does it again
Color: Regular (45-105)
Nice set of flats for the Ibanez Mikro bass

  • They're Ernie Balls... Of course they're great...
Color: Regular (45-105)
Ernie Ball strings have been top of the line since before I started playing, in the late 80s and early 90s. Having started playing bass first, I learned that Ernies and one other brand were worth the price and always sounded great, and I still don't stray from these two brands. When I moved on to guitar, I found a different brand more to my liking but still, Ernies are always quality. These short scale, slinky, flat wounds sound crisp and clear, the notes bright but deep, with no fret buzz and my acoustic short scale sounds great. There really isn't much more to offer. If you play, you know, and if you are just starting to play, read the reviews and trust that Ernie Ball stings are exactly what you want if you want to sound good. ... show more

  • Quality FW strings for my SS bass!
Color: Regular (45-105)
Having had flatwounds on my full size electric bass, I had been looking to bring FW strings to my Ibanez Mikro SS bass. These strings did not disappoint! Smooth feel, nice tension. I loved the size and form factor of the bass with the default RW strings, but these really feel great and take my comfort to another level. I had toyed with the idea of investing in a few brands to do a comparison, but the bass is so fun with these strings that I don't really feel the urgency. :) These definitely do the job! ... show more

  • Not bad at all
Color: Regular (45-105)
Normally D'Ardio was my go to but I decided to try something else . Rings true - tunes easily and wound well. Not too much rattling or any issues. So far - They feel nicely made and I am glad to be able to play on them.

  • Smooth Smooth Smooth
Color: Regular (45-105)
Smooth Smooth Smooth! These bass strings feel silky smooth under the fingers. They sound smooth coming out of the speakers. Consistent smooth quality and sound. Easy to install. Punchy and warm. Look Ma, no blisters! These earn a rare 5/5 stars from me!

  • Manufactured in The USA Short Scale Flatwounds Sound Great
Color: Power (50-110)
Ernie Ball strings are used by so many of the great musicians, it would take hours to name them off. Made right here in the US of A, they are known for unparalelled quality, value, and durability. As soon as I saw flat wound and short scale in the same sentence, I knew we had to get a set. These are not cheap, but worth every penny, giving one of our EBMM Sterling basses the crisp snap to match its diminuative size. It is a little monster now, punchy and much more forward in the live mix. EBMM knows strings, we rely on them every single day. Five thumbs up. ... show more
