I was reluctant to spend over $20 on a notebook, but it is very sturdy and worth the price. The spiral binding is heavy duty, both covers are plasticized, and the paper is heavy and perforated for easy tear out. There are a lot of pages, more than a typical school notebook. Size: 7x9 Style: College Ruled
This college-ruled, side-spiral notebook has a cover which is supposedly interchangeable. I’m honestly not sure how, and it’s not really a selling point for me anyway, but regardless, this notebook is of excellent quality and a nice size. It is rare that I find a thing that is exactly like what I was hoping to find, so it bears noting that this time I did. I was happy to find one that actually has lines, since so many notebooks in this size only offer a dot-grid (which I don’t find terribly useful). The paper is perforated along the inside, is quite thick, and (though I haven’t tested it yet) should hold up well to pens, and probably even fine-point markers. Also, the plastic cover makes for a dry-erase surface, with some handy lines on the inside. If I can’t get true hardback, I’ll take a multi-purpose surface for sure! The spiral seems sturdy, and the cover is rigid enough that the book doesn’t flop around. The only thing I would change is the logo (starburst? sunrays?) in the upper outer corner of *every page*. A company that creates and sells planners of all kinds should probably be aware that this is bound to give people fits. Anyone who has ever used a notebook or planned anything (ever) knows how useful the upper outer corner is...IF there isn’t a logo there, getting in the way of the date or a heading, or simply taking up space on the most important line of the page. *pausing for a deep, cleansing breath*... Even so, it *is* a pretty awesome notebook. Move the logo to the bottom of the page, and it would be just about perfect! ... show more

I'm an Executive Assistant to an Ambassador and I wanted a "To Do" notebook. For some reason most of them seem to include tracking water and meals and exercise. I don't want to waste space on my daily tasks tracker for that. I'm tracking health elsewhere. This one has room for me to take copious notes in meetings and also a side where I can just jot down my tasks to to. Colors always help me organize and remember and the fact that this notebook has changing colors is very useful. The paper is thick and doesn't bleed thru. I'm guessing I will be ordering another.
