  • Comfortable, has all the features as advertised
Have had and been using this chair for about a month now, and I haven't had any significant issues so far. All advertised features are there to varying degrees. (5'5" ~150lbs female for reference) * Headrest: Headrest was one of the features I was looking for in a chair that would sit against my neck (like the models in their promotional pictures), and so far this headrest system works really well! They give you an Allen key (with a nice handle for more torque) that you use to adjust the tension on the headrest, and the headrest itself can move up/down, angle, as well as pivot, which all these combined provides for a much more granular positioning of the headrest. Plus, I can lean on it with a high ponytail, which traditional headrests would not allow me to do. You technically can just leave the headrest off if you don't want it too. * Recline: My previous chair did not have a locking recline, so any locking feature is an improvement for me. This chair goes pretty far back, though it took a little bit of learning how to lock and unlock properly. I will mention that the default unlocked position is angled a little bit too forward, so normally I have it locked one increment back at a more familiar angle. The locking system is in increments, as mentioned, so there is some small range of angle/motion between locking increments. * Paddles: I use the paddle to change my recline angle a lot. The height one not so much, but they're but pretty convenient to use, as opposed to the normal under-seat solution. I sit criss-cross a lot too though, so sometimes I bump into them, but overall not normally an issue. * Arm rests: These are probably the feature I have the most issue with personally. These can be angled more inward/outward, but I find that I have a habit of putting my weight on the ends of the armrests to try to lift myself to readjust and I end up turning them outward. I'll just need to learn to try to lift myself from the back end of the arm rests. As a smaller person, I wish they could be positioned horizontally a little bit to be closer to me, but not too big of a deal. The plastic material is also ok while I work/type, but I find that my arm kinda sticks to the armrest sometimes when I play games and move my mouse a lot. It's fine when I wear sleeves/jacket, but I may have to find a solution otherwise to help with this. * Sliding seat: I like it personally, it feels natural to me to use. There's a convenient button to lock it if you don't want to use it. The seat itself is slightly angled on the sides. I was worried this would be a problem since I sit criss-cross a lot as mentioned, but it's ok so far, but probably would be uncomfortable if I were a larger person (5'5" ~150lbs female again). The mesh material is breathable and keeps me cool, though does leave imprints and gets uncomfortable on my ankles occasionally, but it's ok most of the time. * Lumbar support: I don't notice it personally, but it can be adjusted up/down if needed. * Recline/sliding seat tensioning: These are under the seat, but honestly I don't feel a difference whichever way I turn them. I'm ok with whatever it's set as right now, but I can see this be an issue for others if they don't want to use the locking recline or want a particular resistance for the recline/sliding seat. * Casters: They are super quiet and smooth to use. They were a little bit of a pain to put in though, and some didn't go all the way completely when I first tried, but have been sitting on this chair for about a month and have no issues. * Assembly: Good packaging, in my opinion, though on the heavier side. Since the main body of the chair is assembled, they put a strong plastic piece in the box to help keep it secure. Simple instructions, not too much guidance, but you basically put the casters in the base, put the piston thing in the base, unscrew the bolts for the headrest, attach the headrest and rescrew the bolts, put the chair on the piston and you're good to go. I like the custom Allen key so I know what it's for and I'm less likely to lose it. * Price: This one is kinda difficult to judge. I bought this for ~$930 with the included $60 coupon and honestly I'm really happy I chose this chair. The headrest was big for me and I'm enjoying it a lot. My previous chair was ~$100 with no headrest, and I tried to attach an externally sourced one and it helped a bit, but it wasn't great. Does it feel like a $900 chair? I think so. It has more features that I was looking for even after looking at HM chairs (can be >$1000), or like the Gesture ($1300) that I was seriously contemplating. But $900 isn't a small amount of money. I figured, I spend a lot of my time at my computer, so I thought it would be worthwhile for me if I liked it. Luckily I do, so overall, this was worth the purchase so far. ... show more

  • Best chair ever!
Color: Black
I've never had a better chair! I love how I can customize it to fit my body well. The mesh is OUTSTANDING!!! It is super comfortable and I don't get sweaty sitting in it, like I did with my other chairs. I am able to sit in this chair all day and still feel great. I cannot say that about any other chair I have owned. I've tried many gaming chairs, but this beats them all by far!!!! Also, the company is wonderful! Very easy to communicate with and very friendly. Hard to come by these days. ... show more

  • Facil de armar, la calidad es excelente, al ser de malla no calienta para el verano,
Color: Grey
... show more

  • I bought for myself and disliked it, my wife loved it so it's hers now!
My long in the tooth Verte' ( AKA Batman chair)chair needed a new seat cushion and some other parts were starting to fail after 12 years of front-line service. Because no one has chairs to go actually try you have to take chances. I liked how this one looked and they had a solid return program so I took a chance. It was really simple to build ( 10 minutes) and it looks exceptional with good quality components. I would say it's very close to the Herman Miller Aeron chair if we want to compare apples to apples. This looks better and has more features. What I didn't like is why I gave away the HM chair I cannot get comfortable in mesh chairs. I moved from seat to seat and every time I sat in the Verte it was like going from the Sport Bucket seats in my GT3 to the seats in my Polestar. However my wife who sat in it loved it. I said congrats it's now yours and wheeled it to her home office. She likes the support along her back and all the adjustability. She does use a foot cushion as she is shorter but finds the seat attractive and very functional. I deducted one star because their marketing is all over the map, when researching I saw a video that had a feature that had a fold out calf support when fully reclined...I knew this didn't have it but did I really? These things need even more detail on what exactly are you getting as they have the same seat ( with the calf support listed with same name and PN) I ended up ordering another Verte and in a short 4-8 weeks I will get it. ... show more
