I bought them for my new brompton that came with cheap bad grips following advices from a sales person at the brompton store. They are easy to install and i used a calibrated torque wrench to install them; that said if you need to tweak them during a ride (which may be necessary) be carefull to not under or over tight the bolt. These are comfortable, and allow about 3 hand positions on the bar; enough to rotate between positions); The side attached bar is not really useful for climbs for sure as we tried to climb a 10 % short hill and ended up using the bar in a matter of a second. I dislike very much the plastic that is used; it’s sticks to the skin out of the shipping box, new, so you ll need to wear a glove or maybe wrap them with bar tape maybe ? Wondering what the other customers think about that ? In conclusion, i’m definitely not going to get them again for that specific reason and maybe will go with natural material in that shape ?

This is been the best addition to my new bike. It really spreads out the pressure on your palms. I have some hand issues. I love that I can switch my hand position 90°. It's like having bar ends on your bike. Those bar ends, however, are not exactly like full bar ends, but you can definitely put your full weight on them and it gives you a way to change your hand position. I still ride with padded bike gloves whenever possible, but with these grips, the gloves are not necessarily needed. I included pictures of the packaging. I love how this company used paper and not plastic packaging. Notice on my pictures, that I added a rearview mirror (Hafney) on the end of the left handle bar. This worked great with these grips and was also very easy to install. These groups installed easily with the ranch you see in the first photo. Along with my bell and mirror, this is the best purchase I've made for my bike!

I was little hesitant to add these to my brand new 2021 Trek Dual Sport 2. Absolutely glad I did though! The palm rest is the perfect amount of added support for those longer rides, while the posts add a great additional position for your wrists and hands. The ability switch from one to the other and align both to the exact angle you want is what makes these a must buy! I will advise as others before me to loosen your brakes, and gears on the handle bar, slide them away and use a small flathead screwdriver to open up the inner end of your stock grip. Then use rubbing alcohol and poor into the opening. This will allow you to easily slide your stock grips off almost effortlessly and then slide the new ones on. Now go out and enjoy a new level of comfort on every ride!

Provides excellent control. Nice to use the hooks when coasting to give the arms and hands a break. Also when riding single track they inspire more confidence in your grip.
