However, after a brief search through the instructions, I discovered that the manufacturer recommends using either 10W-30 or 15W-40 oil, depending on the ambient temperature. This flexibility ensured that I could easily source the appropriate oil without any hassle. Once the correct oil and fuel were added, starting the generator proved to be effortless. The first start took only two pulls, and it has consistently started with just one pull ever since—a clear testament to its user-friendly design. What truly stands out is the generator’s quiet operation. When running in eco mode, the noise level is incredibly low—barely audible from more than 10 feet away—making it ideal for camping trips where you want to enjoy nature without disruptive sounds. For heavier loads, simply switching off eco mode results in a slightly louder operation, yet it remains quiet enough for nearby conversations without any disturbance. Another impressive aspect is its portability. Its compact size and maneuverability mean that it fits easily in a vehicle, and storage in a garage is hassle-free. Unlike many other generators I’ve used, this model is light enough for one person to carry without difficulty. I’ve successfully tested it with a range of devices: powering a small electric space heater for camping, keeping a refrigerator running during outages, charging multiple devices simultaneously—including a tool battery charger, phone, and computer—and even charging chainsaw batteries while cutting wood. Overall, this generator offers exceptional value for the money. Excellent portable generator. It’s quiet, reliable, and perfect for backup and outdoor use I bought the ERAYAK 2400W Portable Inverter Generator mainly for home backup and to bring along on camping trips, and it has completely exceeded my expectations. From unboxing to first use, everything was smooth. The generator came well-packaged, with clear instructions, and all I had to do was add fuel and oil. It started right up on the first pull, which was a great sign of its build quality and reliability. One of the best things about this generator is how quiet it is. Even under a decent load, it runs much quieter than other models I’ve used. That makes it great not only for home emergencies but also for use in campgrounds or outdoor spaces where you don’t want to disturb the peace. The noise level is low enough that we could comfortably talk nearby or even sleep with it running in the distance. In terms of performance, this little machine packs a punch. During a recent power outage, I was able to run a mini fridge, a fan, charge phones, and power a lamp without any problems. It didn’t even seem to struggle. I haven’t maxed out the 2400W output yet, but for basic household or camping needs, it’s more than enough. The ECO mode is another huge plus. When you’re running lighter loads, the engine automatically adjusts to save fuel, which is great for longer run times.
