  • No-see-ums keep out!
I haven’t slept outside with it yet, but it seems like decent quality for the price. A simple solution for a hammock without an integral bug net.

  • Great for Hammock Sleepers
Took this camping with me and it kept out everything! No bugs came in during the day or at night. Only downside is jumping in quickly to shut it off you have moths/bees/flies that you want to avoid like I did. Worked perfect and was compact

  • Thick and light
Got this for my son's hammock and it is a thicker mesh than my bug net but it's almost half the weight as mine. It does also seem like it's wouldn't let as much breeze through but my son has had no problem sleeping with it on 75° nights this summer. The rigging for it isn't the best but all in all it serves it's purpose and my son is no longer sharing a hammock with me. ... show more

  • Zipper broke upon first use
There are 2 zippers and the first time I used it one of the zippers pulls popped off. The other one still zips it closed but I can only zip it one way now. All in all I still like it. Its lightweight and does the job. Just wish the materials were a little more sturdy as I hammock a LOT. But for a little more light duty ha mocking its a decent net. ... show more

  • Mosquito net works.
Well made, curved zipper works well, fits several different types of hammocks. We are pleased with the product.

  • too short for real hammocks
this bugnet is sized for 9.5 foot hammocks you'll find all over amazon. that size is not great for a comfortable night's sleep for adults. great for day-use lounging in mosquito-territory. if they'd offer this for 11 and 12 foot hammocks, it'd be a knockout.

  • Lacking
This was on sale so I bought it as a backup to my Gold Armour bug net. I tried it out this weekend and to be honest I wasn't impressed at all. Where the the GA has hooks to hitch onto a ridgeline, this Equip model has loops that you have to thread the line through ahead of time. That's a pain in the butt. The Equip is also much smaller, making me feel claustrophobic. The GA is much roomier. Finally, the curved zipper design I'm not quite sold on. It seemed like a great feature, giving me more room to climb out, but it turns out to be the opposite. Maybe that's related to the smaller size of the net itself, but I had a hard time getting my legs in and out of this door. It appears to be durable enough, and the mesh is small enough to keep out the bugs. Beyond that I just wasn't impressed. ... show more

  • Make sure your butt is completely in the hammock or you will die.
The media could not be loaded. I absolutely love LOVE this net! It’s perfect! It has one job and does it well - keeps skeeterz out! However, when you place your net over the hammock and are about to get into it, be sure to make sure your butt is completely in the hammock don’t think because the hammock is squashed up you will just fall right into it. YOU WONT. Thinking that it will open up as you sit in it is misleading.. it’s a trap..no, literally. The mosquito net WILL trap you. ... show more
