These are incredible. Tremendous upgrade from the cheap scissors and thinning shears I was using before. The grips are phenomenal. A true joy to hold. And the blades are razor sharp. Been cutting my own hair for many years, and this just made it a whole lot faster and a whole lot more enjoyable. The extremely comfortable and intuitive grip along with the razor sharp edges allow for extreme accuracy, comfort and speed. Couldn't believe how fast I cut and thinned my hair the other day and it came out looking better than ever. Especially when using a handheld mirror and standing in front of a wall mirror to cut the back of my hair, the maneuverable, comfortable grip and sharpness are so helpful. After enough time I'll have to sharpen these again, sure -- but out of the box, these are so much sharper than the last brand new pair I had. I gave these five stars because they are sharp as heck and trim up hair nicely. I have arthritis, and very knobby fingers and knuckles, so they are difficult for me to handle. That is not the fault of the scissors, and they are quite substantial in weight, giving them the feeling of high quality.
