The Epomaker TH80 V2 is a stylish and compact keyboard that manages to pack a lot of thoughtful details into a small footprint. In the box you get the keyboard itself, a combination keycap and switch puller, spare switches, a braided USB-A to USB-C cable, and a plastic dust cover with an embossed Epomaker logo. The ABS case uses a gasket mount with layered sound dampening that produces a deep and muted sound profile. The subtle marble motif created by the side lighting and decals is a tasteful aesthetic touch, and the board also includes practical features like a hidden storage slot for the 2.4GHz receiver under one of the feet. The adjustable feet offer three typing angles, and the rubberized bottoms keep the keyboard firmly in place even at the higher settings. I chose the Creamy Jade switches and found them to strike a very comfortable middle ground. Their 45±5gf actuation force provides stability without feeling overly resistive, and the factory lubrication makes each keystroke smooth and consistent from top to bottom. The bottom out sound is deep and full, which pairs nicely with the board’s dampened case. The keycaps on the black model use a gray, black, and baby blue colorway that feels simple and understated while still letting the RGB shine through. They are fairly thick and contribute to the muted and satisfying typing sound. The RGB itself offers a wide selection of presets, including waves, breathing effects, reactive typing patterns, and some excellent rainbow modes that swap the usual RGB tones for softer pastel palettes. Connectivity is flexible with USB, Bluetooth, and 2.4GHz wireless, and switching between them with the rear toggle is quick and reliable. When connected through USB or the wireless dongle, the keyboard polls and scans at 1000hz, which is great for rhythm games or anyone who values responsiveness. The stabilizers come pre-lubricated and performed well overall, although my Enter key had a small amount of rattle while the others were perfect. The software also requires a download for Windows or macOS rather than using VIA or a web driver, which may not be ideal for everyone. Even with those minor drawbacks, the TH80 V2 is easy to recommend. For gamers who care about responsiveness or for students and travelers who want a compact keyboard they can carry anywhere, it delivers excellent value and makes a great platform for experimenting with new switches and keycaps, especially at a price under $60.

I picked up the TH80 V2 in the White Creamy Jade switch option and it has quickly become one of my favorite keyboards for everyday use. The Creamy Jade switches feel excellent. They have a smooth and satisfying press without being too loud, which makes them great for both home and office environments. Typing on it feels consistent and comfortable even during longer sessions. One feature that really stands out is the side RGB lighting. It is not overly flashy, but it adds a subtle glow that makes the keyboard look much more premium than I expected, especially from the side. It gives the keyboard a nice visual touch without turning it into something that looks like a gaming keyboard. The overall design is clean and sharp. For this keyboard, Epomaker kept things simple, which I really appreciate. The volume knob feels solid and responsive, and it is one of those small features that becomes incredibly convenient once you start using it regularly. Build quality is also very impressive. The keyboard feels sturdy and well put together, and the size makes it easy to carry around if you want to use it between home and the office. It looks professional enough for a work desk but still has enough personality to stand out a little. I also like the tri mode connectivity. Being able to switch between wired, Bluetooth, and 2.4G wireless makes it very flexible depending on what device you are using. Overall, this is a really well balanced keyboard. Good switches, clean design, solid build quality, and useful features without overcomplicating things. If you want a mechanical keyboard that feels premium but still looks appropriate in an office setup, this is a great option.

Got this keyboard and wow, it has a lot more functions than this seventy three years old guy will ever use. I plugged in the provided dongle and it immediately loaded the appropriate software and functioned well. The instructions are very limited as far as setting the keyboard up, but it reacts swiftly and flawlessly. The only thing it does not have is a designated number pad which is probably not needed for a “gaming” keyboard. The keyboard has multi colored lighting as well as side lights. Keystrokes are flawless and extremely reactive. You can use it direct through USB or WI-Fi with a simple switch. It is fast and extremely responsive. Even though I am not a gamer, this keyboard is my favorite of all I have owned. If you are a gamer, this TH80 V2 EPOMAKER Keyboard is for you. The price for this versatile keyboard is quite reasonable for the quality and functionality you receive.
