These boards are made with a non-porous wood fiber composite from trees harvested under guidelines of the North America Sustainable Forestry Standards. i LOVE these cutting boards! I now have 5. I found them after looking for cutting boards made in the USA. My first one is over 10 years old, still looks great. These are dishwasher safe, you can use your good knives on them, they are very flat so they don't wobble, they are thin so they don't take up too much room and are very light, they are classy and make great platters for hors d'oeuvres.
