Epicurean Cutting Surfaces® resist staining and cracking, and are heat resistant up to 350°. Manufactured in the USA, they are dishwasher safe . I now own three Epicurean cutting boards in different sizes and they all get used regularly. These are great cutting boards—I no longer worry about wood splitting or drying out. Yes, these are a bit more expensive than other boards, but in my opinion worth the investment.

The cutting board is very well made and the size is perfect(14.5-Inch by 11.25-Inch). It was shipped out in a timely fashion and arrived on time. I thought it was misdelivered but had forgotten that I had grabbed the package, set it aside where it got covered up, and found it a couple of weeks later. When I first contacted their customer service to complain about it not being delivered, I was treated respectfully and professionally and they promptly started the paperwork for a delivery investigation with the USPS.     • THE BEST CUTTING BOARD!!!
I thought the best type of cutting board would have to be a metal one (which I don't think exists) because it would be nonporous and extremely durable. It wouldn't warp/stain/smell like wood and plastic both do. Then I happily discovered that Epicurean uses this wonderful material that is pretty much as good as metal. I have several Epicurean cutting boards but the 15 x 11 grooved one would have to be my favorite. There is an all black slate one I would've preferred but I didn't know it existed until I had already ordered the slate core one from Amazon. (I found it at a store that sells only kitchen stuff.) It's not too heavy and not too big which was a concern of mine in terms of handling while cleaning. It really is the best cutting board. ... show more

Got this as an option when trying to get rid of all plastic cutting boards in a bid to reduce pfas. Like that it’s dishwasher friendly , is a good size, and has channels to catch liquids. The fatal flaw is that it’s too slippery, slides around too much when using. For others looking for non pfa cutting boards, I found so far silicon to be the best - non slip, dishwasher safe for max sterilization, and so far still scratch resistant. the metal ones seem like they would be great but i worry about dulling my knives! ... show more

The cutting board is nice. This is my third Epicurean cutting board so far. However, the packaging was really poor. No packaging at all but only the carrier’s thin plastic bag. The corner was cracked seriously so I got it replaced. I receive the replacement by another carrier one week later. However, the board cracked again. The packaging was just a paper bag without box nor even bubbles AGAIN!! ... show more
