I often will go camping and just need to crash for the evening, this setup works really well for that task. Better than setting up a tent for the evening or just trying to sleep with the car seats down in a sleeping bag. The inflatable parts are well made and of a thick material to ensure it can take a bit of abuse. It comes with two repair patches should you ever need them. The top surface is velour-Esque, so you don't feel like you are sleeping on a pool float. It is comfortable to sleep on and helps cover any gaps by laying your vehicle seats down. I like that you can use the mattress in multiple ways, since it has independent air chambers you could only inflate half of it to use this in the back seat of a car or alongside gear stored next to you in an SUV. The kit comes with pillows, ear plugs, eye mask, window shades, the air mattress and an electric pump to make setup quick and easy. It even comes with a bag to store everything in; however, I do wish the bag had a zipper to keep it closed. It is more like a reusable shopping bag with straps. On the positive side, it is very portable and not very heavy to move around when stored in the bag when compared to other inflatable mattresses I have used in the past. The window shades may work for someone, yet my windows are tinted already and not sure how I would use them even if I wanted to. I also haven't used the ear plugs or eye mask. However, it is a nice add-in in case it would help someone to sleep better.

This SUV Air Mattress is sized for true SUV’s. Our 2011 Rav4 is designated as a crossover vehicle and more compact in size than a true SUV. So, the SUV Air Mattress fit well width-wise, but was somewhat long for our RAV4. However, moving the front seats forward allowed for the extra length of the mattress. The mattress was delivered in a sturdy compact box which was easy to unpack. Included in the box was the air mattress, an air pillow, an eye mask, ear plugs, a rear window cover, and, as a really nice added touch, the motorized pump for filling the mattress. It seems to be made from a high quality vinyl, quite thick and sturdy. The sleeping side is covered with a soft layer of velour-type material, dark blue in color. The bottom side is simply the vinyl, gray in color. The mattress has three separate chambers that need to be filled: left, right, and top (for the head rest). The included pump was quite sufficient the task. Simply plug it into the cigarette lighter, fit the correct nozzle to the corresponding air intake hole, and flip on the motor. Each chamber fills in about 20 seconds. However, as with any air-filled item like this, be quick about covering the air intake hole to minimize air loss. We found the mattress very comfortable, and when you come right down to it, that is the most important aspect. It had minimal air loss and was quickly refilled to our desired firmness in a matter of a couple of minutes. Overall, we are very satisfied with this item. Comfortable, easy to use use, and affordable as well. Enough said!

This car air mattress is a fantastic addition for car camping, offering a good fit for my Tesla that maximizes the vehicle's interior space. Given how relatively thin the mattress is, I was pleasantly surprised by how comfortable it actually is to sleep on, providing plenty of support to keep you off the hard floor panels. It held air well enough for one night, though I am not sure I would trust it to hold up for multiple nights without needing a top-off. That said, would you really leave it set up and taking up space for more than one night anyway? The included storage bag for the mattress and pillows is a really nice touch, making it incredibly easy to pack down tightly and tuck away into the trunk when you need your car back. However, the manufacturer threw in a few "bonus" extras that miss the mark; the included sleeping mask and sun shades feel a bit silly and are mostly useless. If you need true privacy and light blocking, you will definitely want to pair this with better quality window shades. Overall, if you are purchasing this strictly for the quality of the bed, pillows, and travel bag for quick overnights, it is a highly recommended buy that makes car camping a breeze.

I've been wanting to get an air mattress for the back of my old SUV for a while, so when I saw this one, I decided to order it and try it out. On the positive side, this air mattress does fit the back of my vehicle when the back seats folded down, and it has a decent amount of firmness but still provides enough cushioning to be comfortable. However, the velvety side of the air mattress was already dusty on arrival as if it had already been in use despite the fact that it was in the package, and the mattress has a strong odor that I'm hoping will dissipate over time. Despite directions that were missing some information, it wasn't that tough to figure out how to place and inflate it, and the pump did inflate those parts of the mattress that would inflate properly relatively quickly. However, while the more narrow sides of the mattress inflated fully quite quickly, the very bottom section on the wider side of the mattress would not inflate fully regardless of how long the pump ran. I'm short, so this will not really impact my own use since the rest of that side did inflate fully and my feet will not touch that section that is only partially inflated. But it was a bit frustrating that it won't inflate completely. I also noticed that the air pump, the design of which was also a bit awkward, got much warmer than is ideal during use. The air mattress I received was also missing a couple of the listed accessories that others have received and photographed. While I likely wouldn't have used those items, anyway, it's worth noting that you should check this set as soon as you receive it and inflate it right away, so that if something is missing or there are issues with any section inflating fully, you have time to exchange it. I think I probably just got a lemon (or possibly a return?), and the product most people who receive it are getting is solid. Even in the condition in which I received mine, it's usable, and it will suit my needs adequately. But I can only review the item I actually received, and considering the $69.99 retail price, the fact that there's a segment that won't inflate to the point of fullness and there are missing accessories mean that I can't rate this air mattress any higher than I have. If mine had come with everything and that one section had inflated fully like the rest of the sections, though, I would definitely have given it another star.

This car mattress is well thought out and easy to set up. I used a 20v pump that I use for all inflatables since I know how long it takes on other products, and this little mattress went up in seconds. Okay, probably about 2 minutes in total. It is segmented to have the “pillow” area separated from the main body, and the section where the wheel well may hit is the last part to inflate. This is perfect in situations where the wheel well won’t allow it to fully inflate, but rather just wedge into place and still be usable. The two “halves” are actually a 2/3-1/3 split to fit most vehicles' bench seats. If you only want one half, that’s all that you need to inflate. The only downside is that the storage bag is basically just a reusable grocery bag without a drawstring. An odd choice. Overall, this mattress is intelligently designed and a breeze to use.

The smell of this was very strong and it took some time to air out. I didn't have space to do this outdoors so that was a pain. The air intake valves are much larger than the usual size, which is great because it inflates quickly -- but not great because the moment you take away the pump, air leaks out super fast. It's hard to get this inflated properly and is a bit too soft for my tastes. But it does keep my body above the floor of the car, so I guess that's OK. I tried this out in a minivan. It doesn't fit across a back seat, but along the length of the van it's fine. I actually made a sofa out of it by inflating all chambers and folding one side up. The flocking on one side is nice but it attracts pet hair and dirt easily. I'm not sure what size sheet could fit this, but I would have preferred a simple sheet instead of what's basically a (too small) grocery bag to hold the mattress. So far it seems durable but time will tell. I did like the extra window screens -- I see them more as screens to allow you to crack open two windows for airflow, which is important if you plan to car camp with this. Then there's no bugs. I'd say given that it is an air mattress and comes with pillows, a pump with other attachments, and these screens, it's a good value for the price. It would pay for itself after one night, given hotel rates these days.

This is a good inflatable car mattress that isn't too bulky. It fits pretty well in my 2024 Subaru Forester. I will say that there isn't any support for the head part of the mattress in my Forester, as there aren't any headrests on the back seat. We're thinking of solving this issue by placing gear (packs, cooler, etc) in the footwells of the back seat that'll hopefully hold that up. The pump works flawlessly and inflated fast. Deflating was also fast. It felt appropriately thick, firm enough, and supportive enough for both myself (145 lbs) and my partner (200 lbs) to both sleep on. I wish the carrying case had a zipper or a drawstring, but the included window screens worked great and were easy to set up.
