Real timber, easy to assemble, lovely elegant design, and perfectly fit for its purpose. You can't use all the shelves if you want to be able to fit normal shoes (only flip-flops or slippers), but with the top shelf removed it fits even winter boots. Very solid for sitting on and putting shoes on (thought slightly higher than ideal for this purpose, still works fine). We have two, and one is on the side of our sofa, near the front door, so it's also a coffee/side/end-table that stores shoes. Much easier to assemble if you have a ratcheting attachment.

I have had this bench for several months and am very happy with the purchase. The bench is well made and has some weight to it. The finish is nicely done and the shelves are roomy. The top shelf holds smaller shoes like (adult) flip flops but the other two shelves are perfect for athletic shoes. Neither shelf would be suitable for boots. When my (many) grandkids come over, it’s a great place to store shoes and keep them out of the floor.

I love this bench. It’s easy to assemble, provided you turn the legs with the holes facing INWARD! Duh! After that, it was easy peasy to set up. It looks like a real piece of furniture and it is very sturdy. I loved sitting on it to ties my shoes instead of the steps or the couch.

This item exceeded my expectations, including how carefully it was protected for shipment . It's a beautiful wood stain and very sturdy. I can sit on it to tie my shoes. I'm in my 70s and easily put it together myself using their very good instructions. I also cut heavy clear plastic to fit for each shelf which protects the wood.

One of the bench legs and the pre-drilled holes facing the wrong direction. I was able to complete the assembly but one of the legs is only attached to the top of the bench unlike the other 3 legs which are attached to the top of the bench as well as the base frame. Other than that, all the hardware was included and there were even a some extra bolts.
