Use to have an ab roller many many years ago, and wanted to get back into doing it everyday. Love the design of the handles how it contours to the hands better than just a rod. Took one star off for feeling a little shaky at times, but for the price, the quality is good. Took less than a minute to assemble. Only been using it to two days so far and my abs are sore!! It works more just upper abs, not lower.

This is a very simple, snap and play, set up. It is rather cheap feeling but will get the job done. As an older (47) person who still lover to work out and needs her knee pads, these are garbage. I still use my yoga mat but otherwise the roller and push up bars are perfect for someone that's not looking for anything flashy, just functional.

Firstly- I tried it, rolled out some, it was okay, then I rolled out all the way & got a burning sensation in my lower abdomen and I thought, OH BOY!, remembering my hernia, which was repaired surgically with a mesh 15 years ago. Suddenly I was seized with fear; somehow I hadn't considered the possibility of this ab roller giving me another hernia, since the surgeon had told me, "Once you get a hernia, you're prone to get other hernias" I went to Google AI and it said, basically, NO! DO NOT USE AN AB ROLLER!! DO NOT DO CRUNCHES!... etc. Then I wrote my previous surgeon (in the interim he'd moved to a distant city) and he basically wrote: "Watch yourself!" So, while I SHOULD'VE immediately sent this AB roller back to AMZN, I haven't, yet: my compromise for the time being is to just use this ab roller a couple times every 3 or 4 days and NOT to roll myself out all the way. If pain returns, back it goes. Why didn't I send it back (yet)? Because, pain aside, I like this apparatus: it's simple & the build quality is good; ease of assembly: first rate. Value for money? Certainly! Workout quality? Still to be seen. In short, if the miasma of another hernia weren't still over my head, I would've given it 5 STARS! But that's like asking Abraham Lincoln's widow: "But aside from that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?" I'll edit this review if and when anything changes; thanks for reading it. -L.

Had to come back an write a review. I rarely write reviews but I love this set. The set comes with an ab roller, push-up bars and some stretchy straps. The ab roller rolls smooth and is easy to use. It is sturdy as well, but I am light weight— just over 100 pounds. What I’m really excited about is the push up bars that came with the ab roller— I use them more than the ab roller. It’s been great in learning new calisthenic skills and building strength. I appreciate the booklet that comes with the set. It has different things you can do with the ab roller and push up bars (parelletes). I am currently working to do a handstand. And I learned tucked planche as shown in the booklet. All in all, I recommend this set for the price— which was not high because of a coupon I had. It is fun to use and keeps me busy.
