I bought my home with a "ventless" fireplace and I have had more trouble trying to find a company to rent a propane tank out here and hook everything up for me. On top of that, the price of a tank (once it's available because of course there's a shortage), the fee to deliver and install, and the annual maintenance fee to maintain it was all a bit costly. I discovered this electric fireplace on Amazon and the measurements of it fit perfectly in front of my existing fireplace. I absolutely LOVE it! Financially/economically it is absolutely worth it for me! I feel safer with it, as well. Gas/propane makes me nervous. I worry I might blow something up. Seriously lol. My living room isn't very big so it heats it very nicely. it goes from 65° up to 95° in 5° increments or you can have the heat off but still have the ambiance of the "flames". It also has a timer if you're the type to fall asleep without remembering to shut it off. It has 5 "dimmer" settings on it depending how bright or dim you prefer. I have had this fireplace for a couple of months now and am VERY happy with my purchase!! It hasn't even affected my electric bill negatively! My bill was actually $100 cheaper this month and I was expecting it to be higher because I use this thing almost every single evening! Highly recommend! It does come in two separate shipping deliveries but they send you an email informing you of that. I received the fireplace part itself first, then less than a week later, I received the cabinet to build for the fireplace. The doors on the front easily slide back and forth. Everything fit together as expected. I read some reviews saying it took them a couple of hours. It took me about 4 hours by myself but I took my time and tediously made sure each piece was put together properly according to the instructions. (I've learned the hard way not to rush these things 😂) Anyway, this thing is fantastic, worth every penny and a beautiful piece of "furniture". Get you one!!!

One comment I have is that if you are going to put the fireplace in, you need to place it around step 5, not the last step! Once it’s all out together, it’s nearly impossible to screw the fireplace into place. Other than that, beautiful fireplace. We love the look and the heat the fireplace emits. I put it together in about 1.5 hours (with distractions of a 3 yr. Old)

This was heavy and seems quite sturdy. It took a while to assemble it but once you get it done it is exactly as pictured and beautiful. There are no holes for cords in the side compartments so you'd have to make your own if you're using them for media items.

We purchased the stand with fireplace for additional heat in our family room and it has been outstanding. It was not difficult to assemble and worked the first time it was turned on. Great product.

The tv stand is beautiful when put together. However, we received a damaged remote that does not work. We bought new batteries and the remote still did not work. We called to request a different remote and left a voicemail and have not heard anything back. We intentionally bought this one because of the remote. That is the reason for our rating.
