The lights are bright, providing 5000 lumens of clear white light , which is perfect for my garage space. They’re energy efficient too,m, and replace much higher wattage bulbs. The fact that they’re linkable is a nice feature, so I can easily add more lights if I need to. Setup was easy just plug them in and you’re good to go. I recently purchased and installed 10 of these in my work room (2 rows of 5); the room is 15'x26' with 9' ceiling. I converted one of the round electrical boxes on the ceiling from a bulb to an outlet (and plugged the lights into the outlet) so that I can switch them on/off from the wall switch. The install was straight forward. I separately purchased wall mollies & screws than the ones that come with the lights. (I never was a big fan of those cheap nylon mollies). The only reasons I didn't give 5 stars are: - The instructions were very basic; they didn't even tell you what size drill to use for the supplied mollies - The lights are almost too bright - The lights are not dimmable (I tried adding a dimmer switch; the lights buzz/flicker but don't dim) Other than that, these lights are awesome. ... show more

I had a dark basement that wasn’t finished and it just seemed creepy and dungeon like. I came across these lights and based on them being led (unlike the tube shop lights I had. These lights were amazing. Linked them with the cords provided and it directly together depending on the location. We always left one of the shop lights on before for they are pull chain. Having there all connected to the light switch, lowered our electric bill, brightened the space and made it more inviting. People don’t dread going down there to do laundry anymore. I’m buying more to light my garage (which has can lights and don’t throw off a lot of light) and my outside storage shed. Anything with a ceramic bulb option for a light should be replaced by these.
