The headphones are light weight, comfortable and they sound amazing. I find that the longer I listen to them the better they sound. They are so easy to set up and come with all the necessary hardware to make connections to your favorite audio sources. Pairing with your phone is a breeze. The base is factory connected to the headphones by 2.4 WiFi, so you don’t have to do that. You can connect the base to your audio sources by optical, AUX 3.5mm, or RCA cables, all supplied. You also have the option of connecting your phone, DAP, or DAC to the headphones directly by Bluetooth. If you connect the phone by Bluetooth you have the option of answering or making calls while listing to music or your TV. Of course the music / TV is disconnected during the call and reconnected after the call all automatically. There is also an option to connect to the headset directly by a 3.5mm AUX cable if you need to. This is an easy to use and very versatile product. I found that in my usage the battery lasted quite a bit longer then the 25 hours claimed so you should have no worries running out of power during a session even if you forget to charge between sessions. When you want to charge the headset just drop then into the base and they will start to charge automatically. You can monitor the charging progress on the base’s LED Display. I also noticed no latency issues while watching TV or movies with the headphones. This is really a super product at a great price!

Setup: I must admit, when I received the headset and read the install instructions, I was a bit intimidated. It seemed like there would be a lot of steps to get everything setup. When I finally set aside some time to do the install, I was pleasantly surprised. My TV has an aux plug that is always on so I plugged into that. Is soon as I turned on the the base unit and docked the headset, it began charging. An hour later the headset was fully charged. I made sure the switch on the headset was set to WiFi. When I turned on the TV and lifted the headset I heard "connected" almost immediately and I could hear the TV sound through the headset. The headphones came from the factory already paired so half the instruction manual didn't even apply. Easy-peasy! Fit: Comfortable dense foam ear cups that isolate outside noise. I've worn them for several hours at a time without discomfort although they might be a bit tight if you have a big head. The volume buttons are easy to reach and control. Sound testing: The overall sound is pretty good and there is NO LAG. Perfect sync with the TV audio. I found the sound to be a little heavy on the base for my taste, but not terrible. I do have some high frequency hearing loss so I had my wife listen too. She also felt the sound was a bit muddy with too much base but dialog was clear enough. I used the headphones while my wife listened to the TV speakers. Unlike a lot of bluetooth headphones, there was no echo effect. The sound was perfectly synced with the TV audio. Build quality: Seems very sturdy so I think it will last. The battery hasn't drained even after several hours of binge watching TV. Cons: charging light stays on when the base unit is on. Sort of annoying at night in the bedroom. I fixed that with a piece of black electrical tape. Also, the headphones charge every time they are put on the base. I don't like to keep lithium batteries fully charged all the time. My solution for this is to turn off the base, turn off the headphones and turn them backwards on the base. Otherwise, even with the base turned off the headphones will start to charge when docked. Overall these are a good set of TV headphones for either solo listening or for watching when you want to have different volume from someone else. The build quality is good and they are comfortable to wear. A good purchase. I did not test the bluetooth connection because I will not use these except as TV headphones.

Switech Headset I received this headset from the manufacturer for review. I will address the following features of the headset: construction, fit/weight/comfortability, connectivity, sound and operation. Construction: The headset is solid with a good feel indicating that it will last through a long use period. Fit/Weight/Comfortability: I have a large head and I had no problem with adjusting the headset to suit my body style. I can’t say how it would fit someone with a smaller head. The headband is padded providing a comfortable fit allowing for long-term use. Due to its superior construction the headset tends to be heavier than many other headsets, but I didn’t find that this interfered with my usage. Connectivity: The headset comes with dual connectivity (Bluetooth or base station). You can use it as a Bluetooth headset and connect to your TV, phone, computer, etc. You can connect to the base station and receive your sound input through the station. The base station has several means of connection to various devices. The headset comes with the following cables for connection of the base station: 3.5mm to RCA cable, optical cable and 3.5mm aux cable. If you connect the base station to your TV set, you may need to acquire a longer cable depending on where your base station is located relative to your tv set. These multiple inputs to the base station provide an easy means of connecting your headset to a variety of devices. Sound: The headset has clear highs and great bass. The volume levels are adequate even for those with hearing issues. While the headset does not have the noise cancellation function, the earmuffs adequately reduce any outside sounds. Operation: The headset has a MFB (multifunction button) which is used to turn the headset on and off. It is also used to enter pairing mode, play or pause music, answer a call, hang up a call, reject a call or enable the three-way calling function. There are separate buttons for volume up or down. The volume buttons are also used to go to the next or previous song. There is a mute button for calls. The base station also has a MFB which is used enter pairing records or deleting paired records as well as power button. Symbols on the base station show the status of the headset power and connection to the base station as well as other functions. The base station can only be paired to the KH136K headphones. The headset can be charged directly using the type-c charging cable. This cable can also be used to connect the base station to a charging source. When the headset is placed in the base station, it automatically charges the headset. The base station does not have an internal battery. So connection to a power source is always required. In summary, this headset/base station provides an excellent means of audio input for a variety of uses.
