This is exactly what my wife and I have been looking for to take our hammock camping to the next level. No longer to we have to search for the perfect trees or stack out hammocks. It is incredibly simple to use and works with every hammock we have tried including a few friends, and none of them were eno brand. You will feel some motion from your partner but not bad until they get out, then it kind of acts like a teeter totter. This is easy enough to get used to. I would recommend this to anyone that want to increase their comfort level whilenhammocking.

10/10 product! I love that instead of finding 3 nicely spaced trees when hammocking with my partner, I can just use two and we are side by side! It's only slightly annoying when one person wants to get in/out because it moves the whole system. A small price to pay for a great simple product.

I have not yet come across a situation where this device, pretty as it is, was required for hammock camping for two. As a newish hamper this was one of the things we thought we couldn't live without, so carried on a recent backpacking trip. It was totally unnecessary. We used it (one of them!) at base camp, carried it into the hills and didn't use it again. I'm sure there are situations in life where there are only and exactly two trees. I would say those occasions are super rare. If you're hamping, you need trees. So unless you're on a super serious thru hike, you'll likely be planning your trip accordingly, and purposely travel to forested areas. The first night at base camp my husband and I set this up and bumped, wiggled and woke each other up throughout the night. The second night after hiking up to a lake, we found three trees and instead hung in a tight acute triangle. We rigged both hammocks to the tree on one end (toward opposite sides of the trunk) and to the separate tree trunks on other. We didn't have to look hard--trees were everywhere. We had a great view of the lake from both hammocks. We were almost as close together as with the spreader bar, but no wiggling, bumping or teeter-totter, and our bug net (a jerry rigged Coghlan's double) fit nicely over both hammocks. We didn't get bit. AND there's STILL a solution if you have only two trees (or one tree for that matter!) which is to run a line from the tree to the ground at an angle(to a piece of rebar or some other sturdy thing) and secure your hammock to that. Read about it in the Ultimate Hang. It isn't mentioned in there as a two-hammock solution, I'm just extrapolating from there that you couldn't run two such lines off of one trunk. So there you have it, multiple ways for two hampers to hang in two or even one tree. For what this is, it's pretty, lightweight, functional and didn't break, so I gave it 4 stars. But there are definitely better ways of hamping for two.

Use it with my 7 year old son. It does the job and keeps us both under one tarp and I feel a lot safer having him right beside me. I could just reach over and hand him stuff or check on him. I wouldn’t want to go tandem with another adult though, it would definitely wake you up when they change positions.

This thing is so cool. Once you figure out the best place to slot these bad boys onto your hammock, the rest is relaxation. So straight forward to use right out of the bag and the instructions are very straight forward.

This purchase seemed like it would be either the silliest or most genius “drunken 2am Amazon purchase” of 2021...but I am happy to report that it. Is. A game. CHANGER. I’m from Chicago where the hammock culture at the Lakefront is a VIBE, and today I linked-up with a dear hammock-owning friend to test out this bad boy. We literally sat chatting for 5+ hours, COMFORTABLY, within earshot, all while only requiring the use of two sturdy trees. I’m now contemplating getting a second hammock so I can share this experience with my friends who don’t yet own one.
