Stats: Myself = 6ft 5inch and 235lbs Lovely lady = 5ft 10inch and shhhh 135lbs ;) "don't tell her I told you" Total weight in hammock was 380lbs... 20 less than maximum. After the new hammock finished creaking under load, it settled down to a very quiet sturdy resting spot. I was absolutely content to stay there all night with the nice sea breeze. Using kammock python straps (polyester and not nylon like the slap straps, I've heard the nylon stretches during long overnight hangs. Note on the color, should be labeled scarlet and gold not tomato/khaki. If you do not like flashy this one not for you. Was a bit more shiny and bright than I expected but otherwise very nice smooth comfortable fabric. We took it on our bike ride where we live in singer island Florida to the inlet and set it up in less than 2 mins the first time I ever used it. Watched the sun go down for 1.5 hrs and enjoyed every second of it. I am only upset that I did not have this hammock 10 tears ago. I will never travel without it again, it even got my rather no outdoorsy lady considering sleeping and camping in it :D we had it set up for no more than five minutes when a lady came and asked us where she could get one.... We were very comfortable resting in it but for sleeping I think two separate hammocks would be best. At least for my size. Cheers eno you knocked it out if the park! ... show more

    • tl.dr: Just buy the hammock already!
I can't believe I lived this long without owning an ENO Double Nest Hammock. Or a hammock of any kind. If you are looking to lay in the shade and drink some wine and possibly down a psychedelic or two with to pass the time before String Cheese Incident takes the stage, this thing is downright amazing!!! Once those mushrooms take affect, you will feel as you are one with the hammock, and then the air, and then all of nature itself, because we are all one, and you're apart of something great. If you're the kind of person that likes to make a scene at a 4th of July picnic, than this hammock rocks for that too. I mean, nervous dads can't figure out that you can just ATTACH IT TO A TREE WITHOUT A KNOT! So they might take your expensive straps you bought separately and tie them into knots anyway. It's best just to let it go. You know, remember that mushroom trip and become one with the universe again. This hammock may not change your life, but it will be there making your life awesome as it changes. ... show more

    • new favorite place to nest!
Just bought this a couple of weeks ago as my annual addition to our camping gear. We enjoyed our hammock SO much! At various times it was a "hang out" for 3 teenage girls, a snuggly place for momma and her 6 yo snuggly boy, R&R for various mommas, and even a little shut-eye time for the 13 yo boy! Definitely strong and sturdy! Very impressed! Bonus~ it is super portable (Due to the small size) , and extremely easy to use with the ENO Slap Straps Pro Hammock straps that I also purchased through Amazon. We were able to set up quick at a park that was a detour on our way home~ hubby got to hang out with the boys by the bay while the girls hit the sidewalk sales~ win/win! :) Planning to keep the hammock and the straps in the car (In their convenient bags) so that we can "nest" whenever/wherever the mood strikes us! ... show more

    • Great hammock for relaxing outdoors
This hammock is easy to set up and take down. It rolls up to about the size of a grapefruit and stores in its own attached bag. When the hammock is set up, the bag hangs off to the side, so you can use it to hold things like your phone or a book. The parachute-like material is strong and durable, and I have had no tears or loose threads in 3+ years of use. Carabiners on the ends can attach easily to either the "slap straps" also made by ENO or a rope with well-tied knots. When two people sit in the hammock at ones, they do tend to slide toward the middle, but once you find a comfortable position, you won't want to get out. Highly recommend this hammock. ... show more

    • Way too cool!!!
I usually cannot be bothered to enter these reviews but this hammock is just too awesome not to let you all know about it. I wanted to get it to use as a place to sit down/ lay down when I am backpacking. This stuffs into its own attached bag in about 20 seconds and remains rather small (large grapefruit). I have to admit though that I use it all the time even when I am at home. Once you dial in how best to hang it so it doesn't completely encapsulate you, hammock Nirvana can be reached. I am a big guy (225 lbs) and this thing is super sturdy and versatile. You can lounge lengthwise of course but also in a quasi sitting down laying down hybrid by being sideways. I like it so much I just slept in it in my backyard last week and had a completely rest filled sleep experience. I really wish I could give it more than 5-stars. Happy Hammocking! ... show more

    • Better than expected
Works like a charm and takes up very little space. I am 6'8" and weigh almost 300lbs and this fits me just fine. Have used it all summer in all types of settings, from our backyard to camping and kayak trips in the Sierras. The material and stitching has shown no wear at all yet and this this "breathes" really well which makes it comfortable on very hot days with a slight breeze. I also got the "slap straps" which make set up and take down very simple. Love the hammock and my straps and will be getting another one as soon as my wife says she wants to join me on my trips, I'm not holding my breath on that but I do recommend this hammock. ... show more

    • Arrived with big stains on the outside
Hammock is fine but the seller sent it with black smudges on the outside of the bag it folds into. Kind of gross but after some scrubbing it came off

I finally got a chance to use this with some slaptraps. I must say, very functional and comfortable. I little spendy but the brand is good. I don't think two people would be very comfortable unless they wanted to be very close, but I slept in this with a giant sleeping back and was super comfortable all night. Easy to deploy and easy to pack up. Fits in a sack sewn into itself, packs into the size of a large grapefruit after use. Happy with purchase, stitching looks like it will last for years.
