i bought one of these awhile ago and loved it then and decided to get another one and still love it! its so fun to put together and super easy. the look is amazing too. even though the wood is printed fabric it still looks realistic and not pixely. it also holds super well too. i have a lot of weight in one of my drawers for all my art supplies and bottles and such and it hasn't deformed. There’s no sign of wear, no handles have come off yet, and the drawers slide in and out perfectly with no snags. This was worth every cent, and is a very viable replacement to a regular dresser. I bought this for my toddlers shared room because I wanted a dresser that had enough drawers for their clothing and would fit in their small closet. I have two toddlers and a 6 month old. They all have 4 drawers each. I think this type of cloth and metal dresser is perfect for babies and small children. There was surprisingly enough room for all of their clothing since the drawers are quite deep (to me, at least). It was quite simple to put together on my own. However, the screwdriver that it came with isn’t particularly useful and I had to screw it together with a different screwdriver. The only problems I had were the small metal rods that hold up the cloth drawers don’t have a gap between the hooks (in other words they either didn’t manufacture them right or they were smashed) that went into the dresser rods so I will more than likely have my husband fix those with a plier. They don’t stay hooked to the holes. I was able to put the drawers in anyway until he has time to fix them for me. There is a smell like others have said, the cloth drawers smells like new furniture or the scent that comes with new shoes/shoe box but that is not a problem for me. It might be for those sensitive to odors though. ... show more

I spent 4 days agonizing whether to spend money on something that received mixed reviews. I kept rereading the reviews and looking at the pictures. I decided to go for it! Mind you, I don't return things I don't like, I'm actually pretty lazy and don't want to bother. With that, when the packaged arrived I was super nervous about being disappointed with it. I have a narrow hallway, no storage in my apartment and not a lot of space so I needed something that was functional and could hold a good amount of items. I didn't have storage for sheets, towels, shower curtains etc. I put the unit together which took me 2 hrs because I was watching TV so I was pretty distracted. Everything was labeled, easy to follow instructions, and not a bunch of pieces to figure out. When i seen it in pieces I started getting disappointed and thought this was gonna be tiny and ridiculous. After I put the product together I was pleasantly pleased! It's pretty tall and I'm 5'6", and just the correct depth for the hallway. I was able to fit 8 fabric shower curtains in one drawer. We have large jumbo towels and small towels. I placed 5 jumbo towels in a drawer 8 regular towels in another(no gaping). 8 queen fitted sheets in another drawer and so on. Make sure you fold the items properly or roll them. I’ve been looking for a tall dresser for months with enough space. Look for at least 5 drawers and this was more than I was looking for. It is a fabric drawer but they don’t feel flimsy , rather firm. Could probably build as one person but two person did help it faster in the beginning. Took maybe 30mins total from start to finish. We decided not to attach it to the wall with the mounts, so I recommend if you choose that option know that the middle drawers do sway it a bit when you open and close it. I’d assume once more weight is added that will lesson, mount it to the wall of you rather feel more secure. At first glass it really did look like a wooden dresser. I purchased two of these chest of drawers and both have Extremely Bad and Strong Smell that fill my whole house! The smell was so bad and strong that it woke me up during my sleep last night causing me to cough uncontrollably and so strongly that I had to go to my kitchen to take cough medicine. That helped a little but then I had to cover my head with my sheet to be able to sleep through the rest of the night! What in the world is this odor?! Smells like Embalming Fluid Odor which is not good for your health!!! I didn't smell this odor when I was putting the metal frames together. My wife put the knobs on the drawers and placed the bottoms in each. It was after several minutes later that the smell started to become strong. This is how Embalming Fluid does when it is subjected to room temperature ..... The dresser drawers are fine for children but for adults, they need to be half again deeper than they come. Meaning that they should be deeper front-to-back so adult clothes can fit. If the smell keeps causing me grief, I guess I will have to use them in my work shop and buy new real whole wood chest of drawers like the Amish make. I guess you get what you pay for .... Now, I can't breath deeply or else I will start coughing again causing this headache to get worse!!! I am a disabled vet who was just trying to save a little bit of money before Christmas .... ... show more
