It works great other than my Cricut has a problem recognizing it’s in the machine. So I have to keep adjusting it over and over than eventually the machine detects it and will start engraving.

I have engraved brass several times with this tip and the final product is always perfect. Just be sure to not have any tape over area being engraved. Tip must come in direct contact with surface.

I have had my Cricut maker for a couple years and don’t ever use it. I pulled the plug and bought this tool and did my first engraving on stainless steel pendants and I’m hooked!!!!! I guess working with vinyl isn’t for me. Engraving things are so much more unique of a gift and fun to create. This is a great price for the housing and tip. It was as easy as putting this into the slot and letting it go. My project was done in less than 4 min!
