I’ve had my EnerPlex pillow for a month, so I feel confident about leaving a positive review. I just purchased a second pillow too, because I FINALLY FOUND MY PERFECT PILLOW!!! Hooray!! Let’s face it, when you’re a HOT SIDE SLEEPER WITH SEVERE INSOMNIA like me, pillow shopping SUCKS!!! At first, it’s all very exciting. You’re so sure your new pillow will be your next great bestie!!! Who cares if it’s the 15th pillow you bought this year? You’re an OPTIMIST! Then you wake up in the middle of the night to the familiar nightmare of your head being ON FIRE!!! Seriously!!! I’ve tried a gazillion shredded foam pillows..... SnugglePedic, Eden Coop, Sweet Night, Artisan, Sable... some I’ve already forgotten because I gave them away. HOPELESS. Then I saw all the 5 star reviews for EnerPlex, a company I never heard of before, but their detailed description was compelling so I decided to give them a shot. Good Lord, AM I GLAD I DID!!! Aside from needing a pillow that actually stays cool, I also want what everyone wants: a well-made, quality pillow that feels luxurious and offers the appropriate support for your head and neck. Pillows that promise to “Never go Flat” always end up..... GOING FLAT!! What’s UP with that!??! Even the $100 Eden Coop went flat on me, after a paltry MONTH! It got so lumpy and misshapen that even throwing it into the dryer didn’t work. Ugh!! More money down the drain!! Plus it gets super hot on me, probably because the foam is clumping together, right? NOT GOOD. Enter the EnerPlex pillow! They promise to be “Never Flat,” as well as being the only company that ships their pillows UBER STUFFED, along with AN ADDITIONAL, GINORMOUS BAG OF FOAM..... FOR FREE!! WHAAA?! Out of the box, the EnerPlex pillow is soooo STUUUFFFED!!!! I mean, you’re literally staring at a CLOUD! I thought it would be too poofy for me, but I was WRONG! You lie down and think it’s too big, but the “Never Flat” technology is unlike ANY other shredded foam pillow I’ve tried. As a side sleeper, it is extremely hard to find a pillow that doesn’t crush your shoulder and ear while you sleep. You need a balance between support/softness, very difficult to find. EnerPlex, though, has this SPRING to it that makes your head bounce into perfect alignment, BUT!! NOT in a rigid, unnatural way! EnerPlex doesn’t FORCE your head and neck into alignment, it just DOES IT, all inside a soft, luxurious cover that makes you want to HUG YOUR PILLOW! I literally wrap my arms around my EnerPlex pillow, because I’ve never felt this level of comfort, softness, support, like someone is holding my head in their hands! Night after night, EnerPlex keeps its shape, I barely have to fluff it with my hands, any misshapes from my weirdo sleep positions go back to normal on their own! AMAZE! If I wake up from night sweats, my pillow is BARELY WARM. Even my Purple Mattress can’t compete, and that’s the only mattress I can tolerate. If I have a massive night sweat, all I have to do is turn my head to the side and WOW, any heat I felt dissipates in SECONDS. This is FOR REAL. I’ve never had a pillow that rejects heat in such a LEGIT way!!! Pros: - Soft, luxurious outer cover - Truly “Never Flat” technology - STAYS COOL even when you DON’T - Maintains alignment of head and neck without unnatural force/pressure - Superior quality shredded foam (read the description) - Fantastic Price Point - Extra HUGE bag of shredded foam for FREE Cons: - I didn’t find EnerPlex before spending HUNDREDS OF DOLLARS on other pillows!! Below is the review I posted in August of 2020. I have owned this pillow for almost 2 years! I updated my experience at the bottom. August 2020 review: Let me start off by saying that I consider myself a pillow snob. I have gone through hundreds of pillows in my lifetime including the infamous My Pillow. After using the EnerPlex pillow for 2 weeks I have to say that this is the BEST PILLOW I have ever owned! I recently bought a top of the line My Pillow which cost me over $80 with shipping and taxes. After 1 week I sent it back. It was a complete waste of $$ and the worst pillow I ever owned!! Anyway back to this review. After sleeping on this pillow for 1 night I knew I made the right choice! It is soft but firm. You don't sink into it which I hate. I am mainly a side sleeper but I do sometimes tend to sleep on my back. This pillow keeps your head and neck aligned in the right position. Other pillows would leave my head and neck so achy in the morning. I have read several negative reviews stating that this pillow has a strong chemical smell. I have a very sensitive respiratory system. If this pillow had a harsh smell it would have sent it back immediately! I did let the pillow air out for a few hours before use, I do this with most things I buy new. The best feature of this pillow is the removable cover and the extra foam! You can adjust the pillow to your comfort level. I don't know any other company that does this? As a self proclaimed pillow snob I would recommend this pillow to anyone looking for a reasonable, comfortable, and restful nights sleep. You won't be disappointed! **UPDATED 2022 REVIEW** After sleeping on this pillow for almost 2 years I have to say that this is still THE BEST PILLOW I HAVE EVER OWNED! It hasn't lost any of its firmness (which most pillows do after time). I only wash the outer cover. I do not wash the memory foam! I spray the foam with lysol and leave it out to dry. This is by far the most comfortable pillow I have ever owned. It is fully adjustable and they send extra fluff if you want it firmer. When you get it they fully protect it they wrap it really well. Mine both have very small hole in the cover but nothing to make me want to return this pillow it wont spread and i have pillowcases that perfectly fit my pillows. When i got it it had the memory foam inflating smell as do all memory foam pillow. I just dowse it in lysol or some other good smelling spray and put it in the dryer. You can hand fluff these or stick then in your dryer for 10 min on low heat and it instantly goes to the right shape. When i first laid my head on it it was too firm so i removed some fluff and it was perfect. The zippers are strong and have a really good seal. After I got the pillows fully adjusted and was ready for the night i couldnt move because the first part i laid on sucked me right in like a cloud. It was the most comfort i had felt in a really long time. I am hoping the company is going to make replaceable covers for their product just like is on the pillow in case one rips, has a small hole in it, or because someone wants a spare when they are washing one of the covers. All in all i dont think i will ever have to buy another pillow because these are built to last. And if i ever had to buy another pillow i would come right back to this one. 100% recommend to anyone looking for a awesome pillow because this one is the one. ... show more
