*update--after 5 months of daily use, the pillows are just as comfortable and cushy as when I first got them. I bought two of these pillows to support me after a major laparoscopic abdominal surgery. I love them and would absolutely recommend. They have been very helpful now that I've moved from the couch back to my bed a few days post-surgery (it was more comfortable to be fully upright for a few days--these pillows did not quite work out for that because I don't have a headboard to prop against--if you do, one of these pillows could probably keep you mostly upright--two would be even better, but they do tend to slide a little because they're very floppy). I currently have them arranged so that one is curved around behind and next to me on one side in a J shape with my regular pillow on top to keep my head and chest raised up a bit, and I have one that I can either use in a J shape to wrap around me on the other side and support my knees being bent while I lie on my back or use straightened out next to me to support my upper leg and arm while lying on my side. FYI--I'm about 5'4 1/2". The pillow is a good fit for me, but it could probably accommodate someone a bit taller as well. If you're much taller, you would definitely want to have a separate pillow for your head because you wouldn't be able to both support your knees and your head if lying on your side. The pillows are very squashy and cuddly once they've been fluffed for a while in the dryer and allowed to sit out. Don't be alarmed when you see the packaging--when you open them they do not look anything like they will after fluffing. I was really skeptical when I first opened the package, but believe me they will be comfortable. They have that faint drying paint/almost mildewy (but not actually mildew!) smell at first that you get with any memory foam. It was minimized by the initial time in the dryer, and it is further blocked by pillow cases and blankets. After about two weeks of having them out, I can still smell it slightly if my face is right on it, but if I put my blanket and sheet between my face and the pillow the odor is blocked. I am known to be able to smell odors that others can't and am frequently irritated by fragrances, but this is not a bothersome smell for me. If you're concerned about the safety of off-gassing, you could probably put it outside in the sun for a few hours to help with that. I needed it right away and didn't have time to do it, so I'm putting up with the small amount of off-gassing for now. It's really faint. The pieces of foam are loose within the zippered case, so they could be easily adjusted or moved to a different case (such as that of a pet bed or square sham for the living room). I don't know how they wash up, but that's why I bought pillow cases to put over top of the original thick casing. I don't plan on washing them unless absolutely needed. As a side note, my cat loves to snuggle into the nest area between the pillows. The actual pillows are too squishy for him to feel steady enough to walk on (he is a senior cat, so that may be a factor). Keep that in mind if you're looking to make one of these a pet bed. I've got mine in fluffy pillow cases. I don't know how they'll hold up long term, but the cases are easy to get on and off these pillows, and they add an extra degree of comfort. The reviews on this are so mixed. I wonder if the company has a quality control issue or maybe the machine that fills these at their factory is out of whack? In any case, mine came tightly rolled and in a box. I pulled it out and carefully cut the plastic around it and OMG....it was like that spray foam insulation...it just kept going. I left it alone for about an hour and it was so full and fluffy. It looks like someone is in my bed. It is very comfortable, molding as needed to my body. To be fair, I was replacing a body pillow that made it through three pregnancies and is now over 25 years old, so pretty much anything would have been better. However, this pillow is really awesome and so far, is living up to it's name. Never Flat. I'm a sturdy girl, 5'8" and about 230 lb and I have no issues with knees touching or anything. I imagine it will break down over time, but for now, I'm enjoying my lovely full pillow that never seems to get out of shape no matter what I do to it. I work nights and have been finding my husband has his legs around it when I get home and have to steal it back.

I researched online and saw that many body pillows go flat because of the polyester stuffing. However a lot of the memory stuffing looks chunky and I wanted something that felt soft and puffy but wouldn't go flat. I took a risk on this Enerplex body pillow and it is perfect! I love it! It's so soft and cuddly yet it is supportive and doesn't flatten. The memory stuffing seems to be finely shredded so it isn't chunky. In this photo I have it laid out on a Queen bed, so you can see it is large. It took about half the day for it to reach it's full size with me punching at it to help it resize after being vacuum packed. You can take out stuffing if you want it to be less stuffed but I love it the way it is. I am super happy with it! Feel like I won the lottery with so so so many to choose from with confusing ratings.

This is the first body pillow I have ever purchased, so I don't have anything to compare it to. It's definitely the most expensive body pillow I came across during my online hunt, but this product is highly rated, and I wanted the best. Overall, it's a comfortable pillow. I didn't know how much I needed this pillow until the first night I slept with it. It really makes a difference, especially as a young, single individual needs something to cuddle with during the lonely nights. It isn't an incredibly juicy pillow. I was very disappointed when I realized that it doesn't come with extra foam like the other pillows from this brand. Honestly, when you first get it out the box and fluffed up, it doesn't look like it can do much for you. I recommend buying a nice pillow cover to jazz it up and make it look more inviting. Looks, of course, can be deceiving. Once you plop upon the pillow, you realize how soft and comfy it is. It offers just the right level of support. I still think some extra foam would be ideal for those of us who prefer a firm sleep, but even as it is, this pillow gets the job done. I'm still not sure if it's worth the $50 price tag, but time will tell. I expect this pillow to truly never go flat as they market it. If it does, then I'll definitely start to only identify it as an overpriced sack. Otherwise, I'll keep enjoying some quality sleep.
