  • Pricey initially - but pays for itself easily over time
Style: AA Size: 8 COUNT
I've used Energizer rechargable for over 10+ years. The batteries have evolved a little, increasing the mAhr output over the years. For me energizer is a trustworthy brand. My "charger" is also quite old. I think it works great. In fact, I do not see a similar rapid charger for sale these days. Perhaps I'm fortunate. Pros: - name brand - quality - great for home electronics, remotes, Wii, game controllers, etc - quick recharge if you have the correct charger Cons: - slow recharge with the slower charger - a little on the pricey side to start with. But over time you break even Suggestion: do not mix and match newer rechargeable with the old. I personally feel it leads to more recharge cycles on the newer. so I always mark my batteries and try to use old with old and new with new. When the charger flashes red for a battery, then its life it done and I recycle it ... show more

  • Convenient, Simple, and Reliable Charger for Everyday Use
Style: Battery Charger Size: 1 COUNT
I’ve been using the Energizer Recharge Value Charger for a few months now, and it’s been a solid investment. It charges both AA and AAA NiMH batteries (I’ve used both types), and I love that it comes with 4 pre-charged AA batteries right out of the box—very plug-and-play. Charging time is around 4–5 hours, which isn’t the fastest, but it’s completely fine for overnight charging or casual use. The LED indicator is basic but effective: red for charging, green when done. Nothing fancy, but it does the job well. The built-in foldable plug is a nice touch—makes storage a bit easier when traveling or packing it away. And I appreciate the auto shut-off feature, which gives peace of mind that I’m not overcharging or damaging the batteries. One small note: it doesn’t charge batteries individually—you need to charge 2 or 4 at a time. That’s not a dealbreaker for me, but good to know in advance. All in all, this is a dependable and affordable option if you use a lot of AA or AAA batteries around the house. I’ve already saved money by not buying disposables. ... show more

  • Battery work great so far
Style: AA Size: 8 COUNT
I decided to test rechargeable batteries for photography, with my Nikon D750. The battery charger charged the batteries quickly and powers the camera well enough for my test. I will try to give an update on the performance in a few days. I recommend using a wall adapter to properly charge the batteries. A USB port in a wall outlet is not enough and will take hours to charge. Update 4-26-202225: I had a wonderful photo session today. These batteries worked great. Absolutely no issues with pics/videos, even on high power/quality settings, I used a high-quality Nikon 85mm lens. While these batteries worked great, I did not realize how power hungry my camera was. These batteries lasted maybe just over 2 hours, but they did work and worked well. Fortunately, I had an OEM battery, so I was able to continue my photos. Bring extras if you chose this type of battery, or an OEM. ... show more

  • Convenient and useful
Style: Battery Charger Size: 1 COUNT
These batteries are extremely useful and convenient. I play a lot of VR games and was getting tired of having to change out the batteries once a week. Over time, that can become a weekly expense of getting new batteries. So when I found these rechargeable batteries, I knew I needed them. Energizer is a trustworthy brand and knew I can trust their quality. These double AA batteries are of excellent quality and can hold a charge for about 3 days of constant use. It comes with a wall charger that can charge all four batteries at once in a matter of hours. The wall charger does have a hard time staying in the wall socket since it is only one prong and with all the batteries in it, it can get heavy. I had to put the charger on a power strip so i can lay down instead of hang out the wall. Another critique to note is that once you charge the batteries enough times, it starts dying much quicker. Now it has been a couple of years since I purchased these and I am only now noticing a difference in battery life. This was to be expected but I appreciate how long they have lasted so far. Overall a good set of rechargeable batteries from a great brand at an awesome price! ... show more

  • SWEET !!!
Style: Battery Charger Size: 1 COUNT
This NiMH battery charger is quite a little gem! It does exactly what it’s supposed to do with no muss, no fuss and no surprises. Operation is simple and straightforward, making it very easy to use. And it works for both AA and AAA size batteries. In fact, it will even charge both sizes at the same time! There is one caveat though: Batteries must be charged in pairs. A single battery won’t work. That means you can charge either two or four AA’s, two or four AAA’s, or all eight batteries at the same time. But you can’t charge just one. (Some kind of anomaly in the charging circuitry, I suppose). A minor inconvenience for some folks perhaps, but how many people are there who need to charge only one battery at a time? State-of-charge is indicated by a large translucent panel that occupies the upper-third of the front of the charger. When first placed on charge, dead batteries will cause the panel to glow red. After they’ve recharged, and are again ready for use, the panel turns green. For defective batteries that can’t be recharged, the panel displays blinking red. It’s all very simple and there’s no guesswork. There’s even a built-in timer that automatically turns the charger off after 11 hours – to prevent accidental overcharging -- for those who may have forgotten they left some batteries on charge. A thoughtful extra feature for travelers is the fold-away power plug. The two prongs that plug into the wall socket can be folded down, so they lie flat against the case, instead of simply poking out the back where they might snag some fragile garments that were traveling in the same suitcase. All in all, I’m very satisfied with this feature-laden, attractive-looking battery charger. Its features have been well thought out, it couldn’t be any easier to use and it’s an excellent value for the money. The fact that it comes with 4 NImH “AA” batteries makes the value even more compelling. So yes, I’d feel more than confident in recommending this product to a friend or family member. ... show more
