  • Simple, reliable charger — keeps batteries ready when you need them Simple, reliable charger — keeps batteries ready when you need them
I’ve been using the Amazon Basics battery charger regularly for all my AA and AAA rechargeable batteries, and it’s been dependable every time. Whether it’s for remote controls, flashlights, wireless mice, or game controllers, this charger keeps everything powered and ready without any fuss. ✔ What I liked • Easy setup and use: Just plug it in, insert the batteries, and charging starts automatically — no complicated buttons or menus. • Works with AA & AAA: It handles both sizes, which means I only need one charger for most of the rechargeable batteries I use around the house. • Indicator lights: The simple LED indicator shows when a battery is charging and when it’s fully charged — clear and easy to understand at a glance. • Consistent performance: I’ve put many batteries through this charger and it keeps them in good condition — I haven’t noticed any issues with overcharging or poor contacts. ⚠ Things to know • It doesn’t support fast charging, so a full charge takes a few hours — but that’s typical for basic chargers and not a deal breaker for me. • No advanced features like individual charging bays or smart battery health checks, but for everyday use this isn’t an issue. ⭐ Final Verdict This Amazon Basics battery charger is a simple, no-nonsense solution that delivers exactly what most people need: a reliable way to recharge AA and AAA batteries. It’s easy to use, solidly built, and keeps my batteries ready for whenever I need them. ✔ Recommended if you want a dependable, straightforward charger without paying extra for features you don’t need. ... show more

  • Reliable over 6 months of use
This charger works well and I've had it for over 6 months now with no issues. I've only used it for AA batteries so far, but it's been consistent and reliable every time. Portable and travel-friendly design makes it easy to bring along. Straightforward charger that does exactly what it's supposed to. Would recommend. ... show more

  • A good charger with dual power sources for AA or AAA batteries
This Amazon Basics Charger works perfectly with my rechargeable batteries, both AA and AAA, and is a replacement for a name-brand charger I previously owned. I didn't follow the advice about unplugging the old charger and putting the batteries aside after they're charged. Leaving it plugged in with batteries in place caused one of them to leak, rendering one side of the old charger inoperable. The Amazon Basics Charger also comes with a USB port to charge the batteries, an improvement over the one I was using. This is an excellent battery recharger at a very good price. Just remember to unplug it and remove the batteries once they're charged. ... show more

  • Dependable Charger That Just Gets the Job Done
This Battery Charger has become one of those quiet household MVPs. It's the kind of thing you don’t notice until you realize how many gadgets would be dead without it. It’s compact, easy to use, and the added USB port is a surprisingly thoughtful touch for charging a phone or other device at the same time. It charges both AA and AAA batteries evenly and efficiently with no weird overheating or inconsistent charge levels like some of the cheaper chargers I’ve tried before. The indicator lights make it clear when your batteries are ready to go, and it’s sturdy enough to hold up to constant use. It’s the sort of everyday essential that you plug in once, forget about, and then appreciate every time you grab freshly charged batteries instead of hunting down a pack of disposables. Simple, reliable, and exactly what it should be. Great value for money and compatible with the different types of batteries as described. ... show more

  • Excellent Charger
We have several outdoor solar lights around our house so we use this charger every day. It charges any brand even when the batteries are cold and you can add batteries as soon as any 2 get done which speeds up your charging. The only issue we had was our first one quit working just over a year after we got it. We needed a charger so I got an Energizer Pro from Walmart and paid twice as much for it. That charger never fully charges the batteries, all 4 batteries have to get done before you can add more, and it will not charge batteries if they are cold like under 20 degrees. We got fed up and bought a 2nd Amazon Basics charger and it will finish charging the batteries after the energizer says they should be ready. It charges batteries even when cold and you can take a pair out if they get done before the other side. This is a great charger for the price. We just hope this one lasts longer. ... show more
