This Amazon Basics Charger works perfectly with my rechargeable batteries, both AA and AAA, and is a replacement for a name-brand charger I previously owned. I didn't follow the advice about unplugging the old charger and putting the batteries aside after they're charged. Leaving it plugged in with batteries in place caused one of them to leak, rendering one side of the old charger inoperable. The Amazon Basics Charger also comes with a USB port to charge the batteries, an improvement over the one I was using. This is an excellent battery recharger at a very good price. Just remember to unplug it and remove the batteries once they're charged.

This Battery Charger has become one of those quiet household MVPs. It's the kind of thing you don’t notice until you realize how many gadgets would be dead without it. I love that this works for both AA and AAA batteries! It has a light to let you know when they are fully charged. The plug in part folds down for compact storage. I purchased the Amazon Basics Rechargeable batteries as well.

This battery charger has saved me so much money! That around Thanksgiving, my friend gave me the charger and four batteries to try it out. I use a lot of things in my home with batteries, especially around Thanksgiving and Christmas and during the winter. I loved it! I went out and bought two more and more packs AA AA batteries. It has saved me so much money. It does a good job recharging the batteries and they recharge fully in about three or four hours. So I always have batteries charging. I would recommend this as a money saver for anyone. The batteries may not hold the charge as long as say a regular, brand new battery, but the beauty is is that you don’t throw them out! I bought some rechargeable batteries for my wireless mouse (and was surprised that it didn't come with a charger). So I found this charger, and it does just what I want. The batteries are 2800MAH batteries. I like that the charger works with a regular power cord or with a USB charger.

This battery charger has worked very well so far. It is small enough to tuck away in a drawer when not using and when plugged in to bottom outlet, it still allows room for the something to be plugged above it. Depending on the battery, it can take a few hours to 10 hours/overnight. Good price.
