I’m a fan of replaceable batteries like this flashlight has. I have had to many rechargeable types that stopped working within a few months. This flashlight is extremely bright on “high beam”, but yet has plenty of light on low beam. The battery life seems to good so far. I use the flashlight every night, and the original batteries I installed are still bright which is credit to the LED bulbs used. The other nice feature is the size, and sturdiness of this flashlight. You can slide it in your rear pocket until you need it, use it as a weapon if an unfortunate situation occurs, or let your dog carry it as mine does. It won’t break easily from what I can tell. My Retriever has tested its durability and dropped it in water unfazed. Hope this helps. ... show more

I usually forget to write reviews but I had to for this flashlight. This is the brightest, most effective flashlight I've ever owned. I like it so much I bought a 2nd one for when I camp in the remote Colorado mountains. A very fair price and highly recommended. It has 3 settings. High, low, and flashing. I cannot comment on battery life, since I've only had it a couple weeks. It seems pretty well constructed. It might not be as hard/durable as some higher priced ones on the market but it seems put together well enough. I have no issues and am very impressed ... show more

Very bright, which is what I wanted. Not really adjustable but it has two light levels, high and low controlled by the power button. I hope I won't have to replace batteries too often. Time will tell. Update; 4/5/25 Batteries are holding up but I don't use it very often. Very bright light is a little too bright indoors (especially small spaces like a closet) for my sensitive eyes but is good for outdoors. There are a couple of flat spots on the very front (the portion that houses the lightbulb) of this otherwise perfectly round flashlight. You would think those two flat spots would prevent it from rolling on a flat surface. They do not prevent rolling at all. Very well made and very bright. Convenient size. Easy to hold onto. Overall, a good battery powered flashlight. Why did you pick this product vs others?: The brand name got my attention. I keep an assortment of rechargeable and replaceable battery flashlights as rechargeables are handy, no power available makes replaceable batteries very important if power unavailability exceeds charge time.
