Lithium batteries are so much better. They last substantially longer and don’t corrode when left in a device, toy, or holiday decoration for years. Shelf life is extra long so keeping a few on hand for future use isn’t a gamble to power loss. The up front cost is more but the longer life pretty much equals out. Bought these (several times!) to use in Blink Outdoor Cameras, because they are recommended by Blink plus there is no competitive equivalent available. The ones that worked came through as advertised, and my cameras provided service I estimated as two years which was great. Unfortunately, three batteries provided very short lives, less than a month, and one battery leaked a golden-colored fluid that filled one of my Blink cameras.     • Works in cold temperatures
I have a couple of remote thermometers inside of a fridge and a freezer. Regular batteries were not appreciating that at all. One of them even dented inward despite being fully enclosed and safe from impacts. So I switched to lithium. These are not cheap but they handle the extreme temperatures and from what I understand last so much longer that you end up saving money in the end. ... show more
