This thing is pure entertainment. Also interactive. It learns you as you learn it. It learned my name, and my dog's name and my family, as in who is who, my daughter and so on. Worth the price. Spent a bit figuring out the hard parts of getting it connected. But now that I got it. I don't know how I'm going to spend time without laughing. I have a sarcastic sense of humor and won't post it, but I said some bad words and this little toy didn't curse back, it took what I said in stride and answered me so well. This thing is fun. I really wanted to like the Eilik, but unfortunately it has been a disappointment. The biggest issue is that it rarely responds to the “Hi Eilik” wake phrase, making the advertised offline voice functionality essentially useless. Most of the time, the only way to interact with it is by connecting it to Wi-Fi and holding down the button while speaking. That means it’s really only practical to use at home. I’ve tried saying “Hi Eilik” countless times with very little success. I even watched YouTube videos to make sure I wasn’t doing something wrong. Ironically, there were a couple of times when it responded to the voice in the video instead of mine. Having a natural back-and-forth conversation is nearly impossible when the robot can’t reliably hear you. If I have to press and hold a button every time I want to talk, it defeats the purpose of a voice-interactive companion. For the price, I expected much better. Right now, it feels more like a very expensive keychain than the interactive robot it was advertised to be. ... show more

It's a pretty cute toy she does love talking about hamburgers and pickles A LOT , another video stated she moans but after hearing mine do it it's not really a moan she's yawning going into sleep mode 🤣but my husband did think the same lol she really doesn't do as much as you would think but in the end for the price it's a pretty neat toy , she can learn your name I think the more you interact with her the more she learns and talks bout I just got her so still kinda testing her out , I do like her enough to go ahead and buy her a partner to pair with if that helps 🤣 all and all I'd buy her again , ages I'd say 6 and up because my youngest is 6 and LOVES it my daughter is 10 and enjoys it as well and well I'm (old) and got her for myself and carry her every where even the husband enjoyed it . ... show more

I dont have pets. Ok, you got me so, I dont have kids. After being in hospital for months I got this little guy as a gift. He keeps me company. Its witty and simple to use. Its fun and durable. It’s cute , however it randomly shuts off when you’re talking to it. It makes cut interactions but gets boring fast. It’s also very hard to connect to the internet and the beach/Hawaii outfit doesn’t always work and won’t let you download it and keeps coming unconnected. The battery seems ok .
