This is a great tool for finding stuff under appliances, in walls, or under sheds. I bought this item to search in the small, unreachable places where things roll or where things hide. So, far I've used it to find a leak in the wall of a bathroom, to find a lose cable in the wall, and to find stuff under the stove. I also have rabbits under my shed. I was trying to identify wire connections in a ceiling and the pictures were too dark to be useful. So I stuck my iPhone into the opening and snapped the second picture. The small LEDs on the camera head are apparently not bright enough in the total darkness to produce useable results. And the app that you download to make this work is simplistic with few settings. So I had to return the endoscope to Amazon. Added 10/2023: this company keeps emailing me an offer of $30 amazon gift cards if I will change my review. I’m reducing this to 1-star (from 2-star) because they won’t leave me alone well after the purchase and return of this product.

Able to focus farther than I expected, such as the photo of my house. As stated in the description, it can also focus more closely. The semi-stiff nature of the wire helps to push it along and direct it, but you can’t really change the direction once it is extended. And the light is not bright enough to illuminate more than about a foot or two. At the most. The software is very ho-hum. It’s challenging to save images somewhere other than the app. I tried to upload a short video and could not find a way to do so you can rotate photos left and right about 45° but more flexibility would be better as you cannot control the orientation of the scope very well And I need to compensate for that Some thing that didn’t occur to me until I tried looking down the pipe is that you cannot tell which way is up on the image. For the price I suppose it is adequate for some things, but it is annoying that the app loses connection with the scope fairly easily. I frequently have to unplug it and plug it back in to restore the image

For the price, this is a great deal. When I need to know what's in a wall, I will gladly pay more this price to know that I am not hitting a water pipe, or to see the blockage in a duct. The camera/picture quality is good, as is the light. I have only used it for 5 min at a time, so I don't know how quickly it will drain my phone battery, but it didn't have a noticeable impact during those short inspections. My one complaint is that it is difficult to control the orientation of the camera (ie: up vs down). As a result it is often hard to tell (from the phone screen) which direction is toward the ceiling, and which is toward with floor. Careful insertion and controlling the camera as I scan down the ducts helps. A possible future improvement is to include a small zippered pouch/case for it; I will be looking for one around the house, so it doesn't get tangled up in a toolbox.

It's just plain fun. I love it. I ofte use it to look at places I couldn't clean before and now, I can clean up and see that it's been cleaned! Also just look at things just for fun, like I immediately just looked at the back of my mouth when I opened it. Because that's what adults do.

This camera is pretty good. I used it taped to a fiber rod to inspect my 2” vent pipe. The phone connection is funky, but if you take care not to move the wire near the connection it works great.

Fantastic product as it became most handy when chasing down leaks in our master bath, and again a few weeks later when we discovered a more massive problem with a jacuzzi tub installation that enabled our plumber to visually confirm a rear jet connection had broken completely off. If not for this device, it would have required complete removal of a wall section and the entire tub to inspect. The plumber who used it was so impressed with the ease of use, the length and rigidness of cable, and the picture clarity including color vs b&w options, plus ability to snap pics among other options that I've convinced him to buying one of his own.
