I bought this because it was a great price for home renovations, Spaces that were beyond my sight and reach with my hands. Using an endoscope not only enabled me to locate items, but also to retrieve them. The length of the endoscope gives the device considerable versatility.

I am reviewing the product "Endoscope Camera with Light 1920P HD Inspection Borescope Camera" on 1 October, 2023. I ordered this bundimal * to replace a different, very old model which was wearing out. Besides that, it required proprietary software, had very low resolution, and had no provision to connect to mobile phones or tablets. The model here is much more modern and easily connects with Android and iOS devices. The resolution is noticeably better, resulting in clearer and sharper images—a must when diagnosing problems lurking down a dark, wet orifice. I especially appreciated the longer and greater rigidity of the included snake cable, which held a reliable connection to the phone much more often than my old model. My various applications for this product include drainpipe inspection and hunting for lost little screws underneath appliances and behind cabinets—standard household uses to which this improved model is particularly well-suited. This bundimal sits near the low end of the market range and is priced appropriately for its rank, offering very strong value for the price. Endoscopes further up the range will add features such as dual-lens visualization, even longer cords, and 4K UHD resolution for even sharper images, which are not found here. If your application does not require such features, you may be perfectly suited to this endoscope.     • Great price point, no issues.
Downloaded the app and was ready to go in seconds on my iPad. Image quality is decent, light worked great, app is functional. I get the feeling this is a consumer device and not meant to replace a higher end all-in-one endoscope, all the same, if I needed something like this for my business this would certainly do the trick. In fact, if I wanted to prove the usefulness of such a device to my boss, this would be an ideal camera to start with. In testing I used this behind a heavy cabinet and then in a “spy” situation to see how it would perform. Behind the cabinet it worked perfectly, and I was able to control the amount of light put out by the LEDs on the unit, as a spy camera it’s of limited value because the lens is really meant for close focus. ... show more

I thought that this endoscope did a nice job for the price. It will focus clearly within about 1/2" as you can see in the first and second pictures. The first picture (1/4") did really begin to get blurry. There are 8 individual lights around the camera, and they are adjustable with the dial next to the USB-C end. At maximum, the light is not super bright, but it is adequate for seeing detail at close distance. The camera head is just under 2 inches long. It requires you to install an app called "Sup-Anesok" in order to run the endoscope; but the app is really straightforward to run. It takes up about 23Mb of space and is free to download. The cord is pretty flexible as you can see in the pictures. I had it inside my home boiler system to inspect, and the camera got dripped on several times. I never had a problem with it cutting out, so it is at the least water-resistant. I have had no problems with the camera fogging up either, even when I try to force it to fog with my breath. ... show more

    • Wow! Nice device for the price!
Disclosure: I did receive a free evaluation device; the list price when I wrote this was $29.99USD. Quite a pleasant surprise - image quality is good, and the built-in lighting is quite sufficient. The cable on it is firm enough to be able to control the camera, but flexible enough to feed it when you need it to go. There's a small control box at the phone end of the cable that gives you control over the brightness and a button to take pictures without having to do so on your phone. The app is simple but adequate, and installed cleanly on both my Android phone and tablet. It also comes with a couple nice attachments - there's a small hook, a magnet, and a 90-degree mirror that can be screwed on to alter the viewing angle. These could be quite handy for retrieving a lost item in a crevice or bore. I haven't tested the water protection on it, but the overall quality and feel are very good so I don't doubt it'll work OK. Sure wish I'd had one of these when working on my last car! Only downside is a minor one, there don't appear to be drivers available for Windows so I can't use it with my workshop laptop. Given most uses would be portable and the phone more convenient I don't think that's a major issue though. ... show more
