My boy LOVES this doggie mat. He is an Aussie shepherd mix, 50 lbs, and I bought a Large ( 36x24). For night time sleeping, I have some great beds in my bedroom for him and his little brother, who is a Chiweenie, 20 lbs (the Frisco brand from Chewy.com--check them out, they're GREAT beds!). But I wanted something for him to lie on next to my home office desk during the day while I work. Even though this room is wall to wall carpet and he is happy laying on it, I knew he'd be happier to have his own "spot". This mat is so nice! It looks just like the photo, and if you think it looks thick and soft, you are right! Very cool looking mat, plus comfortable. I very much recommend!

The mat arrived in a vacuum sealed bag. Pretty much just a mat, not much cushion, however it did say on the package to let it air out 12 hours to a full day . It did puff up slightly, but still not much cushion. I guess it would be Ok for a mat in a crate for short trips and short usage. But with a dogs weight there is really no cushion for use as a dog bed. Small light weight dogs , cats, rabbits . We bought for a rabbit who doesn't like her other beds, to cushy to walk on I assume and she gets to hot. But this one she really likes. Super soft on one side and canvas on the other side. We bought a medium , she likes to stretch out long wise. But I am finding this mat makes for a great furniture protector with our fluffy Rabbit.

I bought this cute mat for my puppy and she immediately started tearing it up!! She has several mats and this is the only one she chews on. I think it must be what it's made of. I even sewed a towel pillowcase to put it in but she chews through that as well. I will end up throwing it in the trash. Very disappointed.

Fits perfectly into a 30” crate. Note that it is air compressed when it first arrives and takes about 24 hours to fully “inflate”. Like that it has a cool and warm side. My pup seems to like the cool side better. Although he bites at it, he has yet to ruin it with his baby teeth. When his adult teeth grows that might be a different story but hopefully at that point he doesn’t bite so much at things (wishful thinking maybe!). I was using the warm side since it’s winter then flipped it one day. I have another bed in the crate on top of this but noticed he alternates between this once I flipped to cool side and the bed so to me I’d say he doesn’t hate it!

I ordered this thinking it would be comfortable for my newfoundland service dog to lay/sleep on. Boy was I wrong. It arrived with a hole in it and it was so thin, a blanket would be thicker than this. This couldn't be considered a blanket much less a mat or a bed. I returned this and got something better.

This isn't super thick, but it has a nice amount of cushion and puppy dog seems to like it just fine. It's lower pile than some, and fits her 36" crate perfectly. I also purchased the 30" for use by itself when I bring her to the office with me, and it's consistent in quality and softness. I would purchase again, assuming they wash as well as they wear.

This was a lot bigger than I expected which is my mistake because I don't measure well. It is so cute and soft. Not as thick as I thought it would be but still nice. My lab seems to like it. He likes to sleep on his back with his legs up in the air and I'm sure this is comfortable on his back. Throw it in the wash and reuse. Definitely recommend this! only recommendation is to actually use a measuring tape and not your eyeballs to measure.

I bought this mat hoping to give my doodle a softer spot to lay. It comes packaged small but expands. It feels comfy and has a cool side. Unfortunately my doodle hates it and won’t sleep unless I remove it from his crate so returning it. But if your dog loves beds this is a good option for a crate mat.
