I am very impressed with this cook top. My previous expensive, glass GE cook top exploded and I did not want to spend a huge amount of money as I am planning to redo the kitchen in the next few years so I decided to try out this Empava as the price was right, it had Italian burners and had safety features. I am now planning to keep this when we change up the kitchen. The stainless steel is so easy to clean and looks nice. The grates have weight and are good quality. The Italian burners work fantastically once you master holding down the controls for a few seconds after it lights, otherwise the safety feature kicks on and the burner goes out. Once you light the burners a few times it becomes the norm. All the burners work great. Lots of room on this cook top and I can put multiple 8-10 quart pots on it at the same time. Water boils at the speed of light. Everything cooks quickly and that is probably my only criticism. If I need to simmer something I often move it to the simmer burner as the other burners just don't go low enough for a really gentle, low simmer. But, even that is not really a negative as usually I want things to boil, to saute quickly. I would recommend this cook top to anyone looking for a good quality Italian burner stove. I like this much better than my previous expensive GE series.

This is the second Empava gas cooktop I have owned. I moved 2 years ago and I missed my old one so I installed one in my new house. They were both very modern looking, were easy to install, and the temperature control snd safety shutoff are superb. Not super easy to clean, but for a gas cooltop probably the easiest one I've ever used (they tried to create as few nooks and crannies under the grates as possible, so cleanup is pretty simple but still requires removal of the grates). I would buy this over a $1500 Kitchen Aid or GE gas cooktops anyday. A very good value. For safety sake do not attempt to install as a DIY project unless you are trained on installing gas appliances. You can get a plumber or hvac tech to hook up the gas for you for around $120, so it's not worth it.

Great product, easy to install. The cook top look fabulous, and even after cleaning looks as good as new. This is very easy to clean, the grates come off, and nothing spills below the cook surface YAY. The sealed burners are easy to determine where you should be cooking, and after many meals, I am understanding which burner does what. I think that was the biggest adjustment with this stove. For the money, this one is hard to beat.

Was easy to get installed. Had to use a connect from my old top as the fittings for the new one did not connect to the gas line. But we have been using it all week and cooks great. Also very easy to clean.
