I was hesitant buying a metal boxspring being they were made with wood the last time I needed to buy one. It was very easy to put together and is sturdy. I'd highly recommend.

It was easy to put together. Feels very sturdy. The issue I had was more due to the bed. The box spring was too wide to fit. With a lot of force and unscrewing part of the bed, got the box spring squeezed in. Did crack part of the head board but the mattress covers it. I think it is more of the bed being the issue not the box spring. It looks like all full box springs come in the same size. The bed is one of those cribs to full bed deals. The only thing I wish was different was that the fabric covering the metal would encase the whole thing and not leave it open on the bottom.

The welding and screw hole alignment of the side frame pieces to the ends were clearly approximated at best. Be prepared to apply some force to get the basic frame pieces fitted and screwed together. Then abandon hope for getting all the horizontal slats to fit into their brackets. Had to snug most of the slats in with a mallet and one slat on either side is an actual impossibility without cutting it down (at least 1/4" longer than the width supplied by the brackets). Doesn't matter if you start installing from the middle outward or from the ends in. Recommend having a piece of plywood to go between the slats and your mattress. Better still, just buy a better box spring.

My bed slats broke under my purple mattress so needed something sturdy to hold this thing. This definitely keeps me stable at night and gives me the perfect lift so my pillows stop falling between the headboard lol It didn't necessarily "fit" perfectly so it's still sitting on some slats (i have a vintage bedframe so could just be made differently) but it hasn't budged! It was super easy to put together too
