The Emoda 5 inch Twin Box Spring is a fantastic box spring. It comes in a little box and you do have to assemble it. The appearance of this box spring is the same as traditional wood box springs. Did I mention this box spring is metal? It is very durable there is not any noise at all compared to traditional wood box springs. The one I purchased has a low profile ( 5") but you can get the desired height that you want. There are various heights to choose from. There were not any missing parts and it was quite easy to assemble. Be careful when installing the metal slats that distribute weight across the box spring some have to be tapped quite hard to insert them. I recommend using a socket and ratchet as well as an Allen set for installation. With all the nuts and bolts, this will save you some time and head aches. The provided tools will work, but it is a very slow process tightening everything. This is a very good purchase for the money, I would recommend this product or purchase it again if I needed too. ... show more

Put this together in about 25 min. You really don’t even need instructions to do it bevause the parts are labeled, right down to the screws and it includes everything you need. The bed frame I purchased is also metal and has brackets to hold a mattress in place, so I don’t have any slipping. My previous box spring was wooden and you were advised against using electric tools so hand screwing in all the slats took FOREVER. This was super easy and quick. Immediately put on the mattress and piled up to see if it was squeaky or wobbly, I have none of those issues with. Will most likely buy these to replace the box springs as I upgrade the other rooms in my house. ... show more

Easy to assemble. Not the traditional box spring with all the stuffing and coils inside so I dont think it will be noisy. I gave 4 stars because the material that covers the box spring is very thin; just by me picking it up and carrying it to the bedroom it ripped on the corners. I like it because its sturdy and gives my mattress the support it needs. I sleep good! ... show more

This thing is exactly what we needed. I recently bought a nice queen sized bed and nightstand that was made in Mexico. it has a rustic look to it but is sturdy and looks nice. The issue is it only has three slats that screw into the side rails, so it expects you to use a foundation / box spring with your mattress. I initially put six cedar fence pickets across the slats so I could lay the mattress down, and ordered this. My daughter and I put it together in about 15 minutes. It's lightweight but very strong. My daughter put all the corner screws into it and she put the smooth heads on the inside instead of the outside. Don't do that. I think the nuts and screw-ends may eventually wear holes through the cover, but it doesn't move much so I'm sure it will be fine until we have to disassemble and move it in a few months. When we reassemble it at the new house I'll make sure to flip the screws so that the smooth screw heads are on the outside. The Amazon robot recommended a bunky board to go on top of this, under the mattress, but it is completely un-necessary. The foundation holds the mattress perfectly fine without a bunky board. I think the robot was just trying to get me to spend more money. ... show more

I ordered this twin box spring to go with my new Firm-Gold mattress, and so far, I’m very happy with it! I wanted everything brand new since I was finally replacing my old bed setup, and this box spring was a great choice. It came well-packaged, with all the parts neatly organized. Assembly was straightforward — I took my time while my mattress was decompressing and had it fully put together in under an hour. Once assembled, it felt sturdy and stable right away. I didn’t notice any bending, creaking, or weak spots. The metal pieces fit together tightly, and I added a few zip ties where the metal meets metal, just to make sure there was zero movement or noise — and it’s been completely silent ever since. The height is just right for now. I paired it with a 14” mattress, and while the setup sits a little lower than I prefer, that’s more about my frame being short. A set of bed risers will easily fix that later. I also used some leftover plywood cut to size on top of the box spring before placing the mattress, to make sure the surface was perfectly flat (memory foam can sag if not fully supported). That setup has worked perfectly so far. Overall, I’m impressed — this box spring feels strong, supportive, and well-built. It was affordable, easy to assemble, and made a huge difference in how solid my new bed feels. If you’re looking for a sturdy foundation without spending a fortune, this one’s a great pick. Ps I love that the box spring cover is a fitted sheet deal so if I want (which I probably will a few times a year) I can wash it to make the room feel complete fresh. ... show more

So happy this fit perfectly! It does feel affordable, and I am worried about stability on the frame, but I’ll do my best to be careful! Building it took 2 hours and I did it by myself. Was missinf a bolt and nut , good thing they provide one extra The directions for assembly is not simplified very well with just diagrams even though marked in pattern and coded correct. It does need its own wood slats to set on, due to siding very easy and around within the bed rails could fall off bed rail without slats other than minor stuff it is great ... show more
