The media could not be loaded. At 32 feet, I knew this was going to be long, but I didn’t think I would feel so guilty if I use it for small jobs. I attached some photos showing how it can work as a TV backlight and fireplace light, but no way am I going to waste 32’ of LEDs on either of those. Though, I am tempted to line some logs with LEDs and put them in the fireplace to see how well I can fake a fire. The video shows the color change in my garage, which is where I think it will finally end up once I get some more cabinets/shelves. I originally wanted this in my bedroom leading into my bathroom, but I just installed new GFCIs in the bathrooms with built-in LEDs. While the garage can benefit from the lighting, I would have more fun with the colors in my bedroom. I’ll update this review with a photo if I end up doing the bedroom. Some tips: Use painters tape or standard office tape to test out the placement before using the built-in adhesive so you can get an idea of what it will look like. You don’t want to stick them on and get glare from something reflective like your TV stand or glossy kitchen counters. This will also save you from having holes in places you don’t want because the support clips are all screw-in-type except for 2 that have an adhesive backing. This also helps when you need to put these along corners since you don’t want to get in the situation where you make the bend right where you have the LED. Note that to make several rows on one surface, you will have to practice folding and clamping the corners because it’s more designed to bend along something like 2 walls, not turn corners on the same wall. Lastly, I wouldn’t put these outdoors even if they protected from rain because you may still get condensation from things like fog. These are rated IP30 and the 2nd digit of 0 means it has no rated protection from liquids. The first digit means it’s protected from wires and tools greater than 2.5mm, but that probably doesn’t matter to most of us. ... show more

    • Finally no individual led light spots even when close to ceiling

This was great, I put it within 4 inches of the ceiling and you cannot even see any individual LEDs. This is my new favorite LED strip as you can use it for cove or under cabinet lighting even if close to a wall or ceiling. It looks so good you could even use it in a visible install.

    • Very Fast App Setup
The app sets up fast! Scan a QR code, and you can control these lights in under a minutes via Bluetooth. The brightness is good. This is the sort of light has two main uses: indirect architectural lighting and attention-getting. For general lighting, the color control in the dimmer range is quite coarse - which is pretty common. The app lets you pick a color fairly quickly, and you're done! I wouldn't mount these with the LEDs directly visible unless you want your room to look like the interior of a 1992 limo. In "attention-getting" modes, you have quite a few ways to assault the eyes of your victims. Strobe, multi-color strobe, color-changing, etc. Important to note that you can not control each LED individually. They are all on at a specific color, or all off. Great product. Don’t do what I did which is assume (bad idea) that either side of this light strip is universal, they aren’t. You need to link + to + across all jointers.

These little lights are wonderful!! I've wrapped them around the floor of my room (right along the edges) and they provide such a nice ambiance!! A little hint, wrapping a second pair around anything you want in a different color to stand out looks even better (I did my bed and couldn't be happier). They come with a remote control and you can also control them with an app, which is so much better in my opinion.
