What do I mean I love a blood pressure cuff? Do I need a life or what?? I had cardiac surgery 6 months ago...the doctor wants me to "monitor" my BP at home. So I got a little wrist cuff thingy that I'm okay with. But as I get to feeling better, my BP is all over the place. Several medical professionals have told me to get a regular BP cuff. Did that...it was way too big for my scrawny self. Then someone told me that there are pediatric cuffs. (Imagine that...those poor kids). So I got this one. I can't use it by myself, but the gals that have strapped it on me and measured my BP tell me it works just fine. My BP is still all over the place (and I've quit eating Korean BBQ). My doctor is happier now that properly trained and responsible parties are taking my BP and he's messing with my meds with a clearer sense. In the meantime, I'm looking for my life. ... show more

I bought this BP cuff to use in a school health office for K-6th grade. You just can't beat the inexpensive price for the value that you get. The cuff is navy in color, and the tubing is latex free for the student population that is allergic to latex. This factor was crucial in selecting this BP cuff over other cuffs within this price bracket. The pressure gauge assembly is sturdy and weighty. The only thing I don't like about the gauge is that the clear cover is plastic, and feels cheap; hence, the four star rating. However, the most important aspect of the gauge is that its needle glides at a steady deflation rate for quick, accurate readings. The Velcro is strong enough to keep the cuff on. The cuff BP range/size fits 18.4 to 26.7 cm, and is perfect for the patient population I use it for. The length of the cuff from end-to-end is about 13 inches. The width of the cuff is about 4 inches. It also comes in a handy sleek navy case that's easy to zip. Also included is a handy little quick reference direction sheet on how to properly use the cuff, which delightfully fits in the case also. Would I buy this again? At this price, it's a steal. The latex-free tubing makes it a must to own of you can't see yourself spending $50 for a pediatric cuff, so YES! ... show more

I said "it's ok," because I was going to use it on myself. I am an adult, but I have been looking for a small cuff appropriate for my arm, the circumference is 8". So the size was fine. But it is too difficult for me to put it on myself. So I will return this, if I ever figure out how to return an item, and look for a digital pediatric cuff. If you are applying it to a child, it is fine. But I still think a digital cuff is better. ... show more
