It fights back but I think that is because I am just unable to use it too much due to not having a reason to do so. I got this for an order that someone wanted and they never followed through so I have only used it a few times to test it out. Works out decently but you will have to fight it a bit but that is how loops tend to work.

My first embroidery project turned out good. Very good price compared to what others are charging. Very sturdy. I use a SE600 Brothers and I did have to take the embroidery foot and needle off to get this on but they were easy to put back on. Hardest part was the cap I was using was pretty stiff so I ended up pressing the material down while embroidering and watched the whole time. Over all very happy

I was excited to get this adapter,I try to put on my 5x7 hoop no way at first I thought I got a wrong unit after struggling with it, I figured out that the two screws that you see in the picture were all the way in (wrong size Screw) it was very hard to get a screwdriver in that tight spaces,I had to unscrew them to make it work,I have tried it, because I am planning to return it, but the seller's institution doesn't return contact us but there is no way to contact them I need shorter screws,there is no reason to have long and bended screws

I asked to return it because even though it said it worked on my machine it didn’t. Never got an answer. Now it is to late to return it. Does not work on brother es 625. Waste of money

This hoop fit my Brother SE625 4"x4" hoop. It does a good job of holding the hat securely and seems well made. Be sure to tuck the sweat band inside the clamp or tape out of the way. The big drawback is the you need to leave about 1-3/4" at the bottom of that the clear your needle. That forces you to but your design fairly high on the hat. Also for it look correct you need to make your design quite small about 1-1/2" high, width is not a problem. But if you understand it's limitation "It's Not Bad" for the price.

I have a brother PE400 I’ve been embroidering caps using sticky stabilizer but thought this would hold the caps better, minimizing having the hat move around. But this was a big fail! It snaps on the hoop easy enough and is a value for the price if it worked. For some reason this caused my machine hoop to misalign every time. It forms too much of an obstruction, and lessens the embroidery area of the hat. I ruined 3 hats trying to use this. Plus you still have to use sticky stabilizer with this hoop....I’ll just use my 4x4 with sticky and minimize my trouble thank you.

I love this hoop. Yes, it was a tad difficult to understand how it works as there are no instructions but after I worked it out and thought it worked great.
