Used this in a small gnome garden. Looks realistic and seems durable. I would prefer a roll that I could cut to the size and shape I wanted, instead of all these small pieces that you have to piece and fasten together. I used landscape fabric staples to hold the pieces down which worked well.

Yes, grass pieces shed. Thanks to many of the reviewers for the warning. I opened the package outside and shook them off before carrying them inside to work on my project. There may be some shedding afterward, but nothing like when I shook them off outside. I would buy them again.

I was shopping around and trying to find the best deal for my money. There were no reviews for this product...which made me hesitant on the legitimacy of the seller and the product. I had been finding other sellers selling the same size square mini grass for around the same price but with a 3 count package and a lot of good reviews/numerous stars...However the price and the 10 count won me over and I made this purchase—so glad I did. Shipping: There were issues with the 1 day shipping...(Assuming positive intent) but shipping issues could have occurred because it was being shipped during the week-weekend of July 4th. Spoke with support and they did everything they could for me (finding the package during the shipping process) and I was happy with the outcome. Product: The grass has two colors mixed in, which I think it gives it a realistic flair...as much as mini plastic grass can look. The grass does have a reflective nature to them—I’m sure if a matte varnish was sprayed on them this would rid this issue of it being “shiny”. I would say the colors are a rich evergreen color and lime green. In low light/yellow light the grass seems richer in color...in sterile/bright fluorescent lighting...the shininess can be a deterrent, but the color combination reminds me of healthy green grass on a bright summers day. Tip: I recommend cutting this over a trash can...or have a set up where you can contain the random flyaway grass pieces. This stuff gets everywhere. Like glitter. 10 pieces came. Product is made in China. Nowhere on the packaging does it indicate the material it’s made of. The product packaging came undamaged and in a sealable industrial reusable plastic bag that is just a little bigger than the product itself.
