*****7/24/24 UPDATE. The merchant contacted me and sent a replacement. They were apologetic and rectified the situation. Perhaps I originally got a faulty one. New one is perfect. Bought this for a wedding a couple months ago and made the mistake of not checking it. When I did, one of the bases doesn’t open fully so I can’t use. Tried contacting the merchant directly and have not heard back. Would have been perfect if it was build properly.

This claims to be a heavy duty stand. I did not have success with it. It was not strong enough to hold up my flower wall like I had hoped. It wasn’t stable enough and it was bowing at the center when I attempted to put my flower wall on it.

This item is worth every penny of the price. Do not hesitate to purchase! Easy easy set up. Can be adjusted easily and extends to a huge backdrop frame. Does not tilt when assembled. I have a cheaper version and this one is the way to go! Truly worth the price!

Didn’t withhold basic decor, it can be pretty windy where we live and unfortunately the day we put it up ended up windy and the stand toppled over within the first 10 mins of it being up. The top screws were both bent and I couldn’t even return it to get a refund. I wouldn’t waste my money on this, look elsewhere

I had purchased a version of this in the 6.3 foot height and was generally impressed with the product quality and construction. I wanted a bit more height so thought I'd go for the 8.5 foot height and return the shorter version. Sadly, the taller version does not have the same design for the horizontal bar as the shorter version and is much flimsier. I tried to hang my 6' x 2.5' vinyl sign from it (which has some small amount of weight but not a lot) and it kept causing the bars to sag and collapse back to the middle so the sign would not hang properly. This was not a problem with the much sturdier design with the shorter version. If they could have a version with the taller vertical bars and the same horizontal bar design as with the shorter version this would be a winner. But as sold, it's a disappointment. I returned the taller version.

Love with the stand is weighted and that it’s a solid instead of three legs on each side. However, the side poles connect to the base by a screw in the bottom. It sure would’ve been nice if the screw would’ve been attached and you didn’t have to turn it upside down to connect the polls to the base. Also, the case zipper only goes partway around so to get, the pole pieces out it’s hard because they stick inside the part that doesn’t open. I feel like it’s sturdier than my old non-weighted one, but it isn’t as quick and easy to use.
