You read right! More than 5 back surgeries; 8 screws, 6 rods, and 3 mesh cages. Screws and rods are made of titanium alloy. I still have a herniated disk that is still giving me problems. Now I know some of you might say, "from what level to what level are the fusions?" I don't want to reveal too much of my life and surgeries because in my city as of now I'm the only one that has had this many surgeries & I love my privacy. I'm saying this much because it's vital to the review of this pillow. I'm a side sleeper, I have to be because of the back pain. For a long time that I can remember I've been dealing with shoulder pain when I wake up every morning because I have to sleep on my side cause if I don't the amount of back pain intensifies so much that I am crying for the rest of the day or contemplating on going to the ER. The first night that I used the pillow I got to sleep a little more than I usually do, 6 hours versus the 3 to 4 hours that I normally get. I did wake up a little sore in my shoulder, but a lot less back pain, but I figured that it was the first night my body has to get used to it. I mean come on, I've had to deal with neck, shoulder, and especially back pain for more than half my life. After the third night, I was screaming at my pillow, "Where were you 10 years ago?!" Why didn't you come into my life sooner before I spent hundreds of dollars (not joking, I did) on pillows that were supposed to help me get a good night's sleep but never did?!" LOL!!! Of course, I'm yelling all this in my head, LOL!!! My neck and shoulder pain is 95% gone! My back pain is still a problem, as I stated earlier this back pain will never go away completely, but it was still intense. This was only 3 nights of use, I look forward to a week's worth of sleep, heck make that a month! I know that this pillow will not let me down, after I finish with this review I'm buying 2 more as gifts for my parents. Even my parents noticed that I have slept more and woken up more energetically than I ever had before. I suffer from a pain that will stay with me for the rest of my life. DO NOT & I MEAN DO NOT get my words twisted, I know that others have worse injuries than mine and this pillow may not help them. All I can say is with my injuries and the pain that I suffer from, this pillow has helped me alleviate a lot of that pain. Whether your pain is from the back, neck, or shoulders this pillow may help you, PLEASE PLEASE DON'T PASS ON GETTING THIS PILLOW!!!!

For the very first time in two years I woke up without neck pain! I suffer from degenerative disc disease and sleeping is a challenge. The pillow is very firm and a little awkward to use. However, once I fell asleep I had no issues. I literally woke up and was in shock. If you suffer from any sort of neck pain buy this. I took off one star because as you can see on the picture the seam was split and the foam was coming out. A couple of stitches and I fixed it.

First I will say, I wanted to return the pillow after receiving it. I hated it actually. But I learned I wouldn't get a full refund, so I decided to give it another try. Glad I did, as it helped with my neck pain and now it's the only pillow I use. One thing to make it even better is that it could be a little thicker.

I've had a few of this type of pillows over the years. This one is firm, really firm. I have a straight cervical spine and the wrong pillow will bring so real pain. I was skeptical because my head didn't feel cradled like it did with other pillows. But it works. No pain.

I had been waking up with some neck/upper back pain. I knew it had to do with my pillow, so I discovered this one. After night 1, my neck pain disappeared. I did feel a slight soreness in the center of my back, but nothing like my previous neck pain. I assumed it had to do with the new alignment of the neck and my spine adjusting. Night 2, soreness was gone and I woke up feel refreshed and well rested…something I hadn’t felt in months. The only feedback I have is that I wish the pillowcase it comes with was softer. I plan to throw a king size case over it tonight to see if that helps. I can’t imagine it would interfere with the functionality though. I also think the price point is great, too. I’ve tried many other overpriced pillows that aren’t this supportive. Highly recommend for anyone who wakes up feeling sore with their current pillow.

I bought 2 of theses pillows for my husband and myself. We like the pillow however my only suggestion is to provide a pillow case that conforms to them. I know the pillow has a removable cover but I don’t find the polyester cover comfortable for my face. I would like something softer and would be willing to pay extra for a pillow case. Overall the pillow is well worth the money and I would recommend it. I rarely wake up with neck pain or headaches.

I don't leave very many reviews, but this one was a must. I bought this pillow because I've had horrible pain and stiffness in my neck and was getting migraines everyday from my neck. It took some getting used to, but now that I've found my "nook" for sleeping, my neck feels so much better and most important, no daily migraines! Even my chiropractor had bought one similar so that definitely adds extra comfort that this is a great product. There only con is the smell for about a week. I took dryer sheets and put in the pillow case to get rid of it quicker. That's the only reason it got 4 stars instead of 5.
