Love this!! I pump exclusively for my baby and this is the third pump I’ve tried, so I’ll explain what I love in comparison to other two. I also have the Spectra Gold and the Momcozy M5. My Spectra Gold is great and is somewhat portable when used with wearable collection cups since it has the ability to operate without being plugged in, but it’s still cumbersome to walk around with since it’s heavy and not exactly pocket-size. I got the Momcozy M5 for a more mobile and hands-free option, but those completely stopped working after one week of use (and that’s while switching off with my Spectra too, so it wasn’t even my primary pump). So I then got the Elvie Stride - and I am so impressed. It’s quiet. The collection cups aren’t comically obvious when wearing them, and they’re super lightweight so it’s easier to keep them in place while pumping. It’s powerful enough that I get the same output as I do with my Spectra. The pour holes actually have plugs so I don’t have to worry about milk spilling out if I lean over to pick up my baby while pumping. The app makes setup a breeze, but it also functions without the app if you’re not by your phone when you need to start pumping. There are minimal parts so cleaning is easy. And the hub is small and easily fits in my pocket (or clips to my waistband if I don’t have pockets). This has definitely improved my pumping experience and I would recommend it to anyone who needs a hands-free pump! It comes with a 24mm size shield. You can purchase 21mm or 28mm separately, so if you know you need one of those sizes, go ahead and buy that at the same time because it does not include different size options. (The shield is an entire component of the pump - not just an insert like for other wearable pumps - so it makes sense that they don’t include multiple sizes.)

As a mom of a very active 3 year old and a newborn, I hardly ever have time to think let alone leave reviews but I felt the need to pay it forward by writing this one. I just want to say - buy it, It’s totally worth it!! I have the Spectra S2 and the Medela Maxflow and I couldn’t do anything. I found myself super frustrated! I couldn’t find time to pump, be with my newborn and spend time with my toddler and when I did I was confined to my seat. With this pump, I do everything (clean, cook, do dishes) and I even use it on the go to pick up my toddler. Buy it!! You will be happy again :)

Love this pump! I originally got the spectra because everyone told me it would produce more milk but after using this pump for about a week it pumps the same amount of milk and is much more convenient. I haven’t had any issues with milk leaking or parts not fitting together properly and I use a bottle dryer and sanitizer to clean daily. I highly recommend this pump, it is convenient, powerful and silent. I guess the only con would be is you look like Dolly Parton while wearing but it’s worth it.

I’ve had my pump for two weeks and use it 3 times a day and the suction stopped working. There is no option to return the pump unless the box is unopened. They make you call the Elvie customer service line, who sends replacement parts instead. Which would be an okay solution, however they refuse to expedite the shipping, so I now have to wait 3-5 days for these replacement parts to arrive. They tried justifying this by saying it often arrives in 3 days. For a mom of a preemie who will only bottle feed (and for any nursing mom really), it’s just not an option to go 3-5 days without pumping. So now I have to spend 100s of dollars on a new pump just so I can pump and feed my child while waiting for the replacement parts. This is absurd considering the machine should not be breaking within 2 weeks of light use and is not my fault. I’m furious that I have no option to return the defective machine and get my money back, and am now forced to spend money on a second pump that I shouldn’t need. Do better Elvie. This is your warning to listen to the other reviews that complain of defective parts- I ignored them because I had a friend who had a good experience with her Elvie pump, but apparently the defective machines are more common than you’d think.

I have tried a few different pumps, spectra, motif Aura, medela manula and this. Spectra is good but bulky, Motif Aura didn't work well for me. This one is my favorite when I am not able to sit and use my manual Medela hand pump as that one is my top choice. It's under $30 and works better than any other pump but with kids it's not always an option to use. Pros: fits in bra and can move around house with kids while pumping even with the hose connector. Hospital strength and works well to remove milk fully. Fairly quite but still noticable. Easy to clean. Cons: cost is pricy. They have leaked on me if they accidentally shift and come un-suctioned during pumping as this cause the diaphragm to break the seal and then leak. This can mostly be avoided (no major movements and turn off before shifting on nipple), however, if it does happen it is extremely annoying to deal with and often not noticeable until milk is running down your shirt. There are 4 main parts to clean to each cup and assemble and they must be completely dry to seal or they will leak. I have to pump once or twice a day so this is not an issue for me. If you are an exclusive pumper, this could be a very annoying item to deal with without buying multiple parts. It also is annoying if they leak mid pump because then it's wet and won't seal again until gaskets are completly dry. I do recommend this pump but just consider what would work best for your life style. I have wonder if the pump might be useable with different cups somehow because the motor itself is very powerful and works well yet to figure that out.

I really liked this while I was able to use it. It was very easy to use, it has a lot of different settings to make it comfortable to you. But I would recommend knowing what size nipple you have before buying just in case you need a different size than what it comes with
