I honestly can't say enough for you to read all of the reviews, I've waited & waited on writing this review because I was hoping that the peóple at Elvie would have responded back to my emails and attempts to reach someone toyy handle the situation buy now. My Grandson was born September 30 and due to not only the 1st Hub not working, or the 2nd, that by time the 3rd one arrived it was too late. Due to not being able to pump with the very pricey pump we paid for but couldn't use, and the baby just wasn't making enough milk produce on his own, that literally the same night that the 3rd Hub came in the mail because they didn't even ship at a timely rate, I stopped producing enough milk. And had to run out in the middle of the night to get f22ormula. So now this EXPENSIVE piece of useless equipment just sits there. I've had 4 Children now, and this has to be the absolute most useless thing out of EVERY SINGLE Baby item I have ever purchased. And it isn't like I just have a few extra hundreds of Dollars lying around. I had to scrimo and save yoget this useless thing. I don't advise buying unless you want to waste your money. ... show more

    • Game changer as exclusive pumper! LOVE IT!

Baby has some latch issues still after being premature so I exclusively pump and bottle feed her. This is such a game changer! It’s quiet, discrete, and allows me to pump anywhere- driving, pushing toddler and newborn in stroller, while changing a diaper, during dishes, and feeding her while she sat on my lap. It’s comfortable and I get the same amount of milk as my hospital grade pump. No more being stuck pumping near the wall unless hubby is home and I want to. It does take some time to properly dry the pump parts before each use so they won’t break the hub parts. Assembly was tricky at first but the manual and YouTube videos helped a lot. I’m a size 28 flange size so I got the flanges separately on Amazon that are compatible and made by Elvie. I find this Elvie stride more comfortable and portable than the original Elvie which I used with my first born. I can’t say enough good things. My only complaint was I wish I bought this sooner but didn’t know they had my size as an add on accessory. I also just learned that there is an app that connects to the pump and I can set a timer for 20 minutes so I remember to shut it off and can review my pumping sessions. ... show more

I have tried a few different pumps, spectra, motif Aura, medela manula and this. Spectra is good but bulky, Motif Aura didn't work well for me. This one is my favorite when I am not able to sit and use my manual Medela hand pump as that one is my top choice. It's under $30 and works better than any other pump but with kids it's not always an option to use. Pros: fits in bra and can move around house with kids while pumping even with the hose connector. Hospital strength and works well to remove milk fully. Fairly quite but still noticable. Easy to clean. Cons: cost is pricy. They have leaked on me if they accidentally shift and come un-suctioned during pumping as this cause the diaphragm to break the seal and then leak. This can mostly be avoided (no major movements and turn off before shifting on nipple), however, if it does happen it is extremely annoying to deal with and often not noticeable until milk is running down your shirt. There are 4 main parts to clean to each cup and assemble and they must be completely dry to seal or they will leak. I have to pump once or twice a day so this is not an issue for me. If you are an exclusive pumper, this could be a very annoying item to deal with without buying multiple parts. It also is annoying if they leak mid pump because then it's wet and won't seal again until gaskets are completly dry. I do recommend this pump but just consider what would work best for your life style. I have wonder if the pump might be useable with different cups somehow because the motor itself is very powerful and works well yet to figure that out. ... show more
