Have bought the cheaper version from Home Depot for years for smaller jobs. I purchased 2 of these recently for a couple of larger repairs. Came individually wrapped, so only had to open 1 right now. This is easily worked and dried well overnight. Sanded the next day and after painting, the patch is invisible. What is most impressive is that it does not fall out at the corners when sanded. I have plans for the rest of this stuff. Price is excellent.

I did like that the product hardened, it sanded really well. It acted as wood would. I gave it a 4, because it is a gritty rough finish. No matter how much U sand, how much U sand off, it is gritty, does not leave a smooth finish. Great to level out wooden floors or to fill in bad holes in the wood floor, then cover with vinyl, or linoleum, etc. Where the rough finish doesn't matter.

As a 3D printing enthusiast, I've found this to be an excellent product for filling gaps and imperfections in my 3D prints. This woodfiller is specifically designed to work with wood, but I've found that it works just as well on my 3D printed models. The woodfiller blends in nicely with my 3D printed objects, making any gaps or imperfections virtually disappear. The woodfiller is easy to apply and dries quickly, which is important when I have multiple prints to finish. One of the things I appreciate most about this woodfiller is that it doesn't shrink or crack as it dries, which can be a problem with other types of fillers. It's also easy to sand down to a smooth finish, which is essential for achieving a professional-looking final product. The 32-ounce container is quite large and will last a long time, even with frequent use. It's also reasonably priced, making it a great value for the money. I highly recommend this for anyone who needs to fill in gaps or imperfections in their 3D printed models. It's easy to use, dries quickly, and provides a great finish that blends in seamlessly with the surrounding material

hasn't been applied long enough to speak to durability, but this set up more quickly than the regular wood filler by Elmers. the pro had a bit stiffer consistency and therefore i was able to fill holes in my deck wood with just one container. it took 2 containers of the non Pro version and that version - not recommended for exterior applications - and did not hold up to rain over time. i had soil erosion in the yard which allowed water to drain under my deck boards installed (by me) over 2x4s as a ground level deck in 2007. back then, the yard was fine, full grass, and no erosion or water drainage. after 10 years with dogs, no grass and soil erosion -- despite a french drain i dug in 2016 -- water leaked under and destroyed the 2x4s in places eventually causing wood rot to the boards from below. this product is a bandaid but i can't afford a new deck, so this will suffice for $25 (for 2). if it does what it says -- and if the wall i built in the yard to stop further erosion works -- this will prevent boards from further deterioration and protect the wood from additional rot this winter. i also had the misfortune of trying a Behr product which destroyed the protective layer of stain and now top boards are splitting and rotting as a result. thankfully, the second container can help with that....Elmers to the rescue again! **one pic shows where i had to replace certain portions of board damaged by water from below. i don't recommend doing that, but i couldn't unscrew the bolts to replace the entire board.

I love this filler. It's strong, easy to work and holds an edge meaning you can shape a corner with your putty knife when repairing timber edges. Even though the description and the photo show the product as being for interior and exterior, two different sellers sent me the interior only version. When a local hardware store ran out, I called Elmer's and as of mid-july '23, the probond filler exterior version is no longer in stock at the wholesale level and the person I talked to be believes it's no longer being packaged as an exterior rated product. The product is 5 stars. The poor rating is for the misleading photos and the seller not knowing what they're sending.
