We used this for a single step up from a laundry room and it works great. The base brackets can be rotated so at least two of the mounting screws can be secured into a 2x4 studs, making for a very secure installation. Grab bar itself of very nice build quality and the finish is great.

Being solid brass was a factor in my decision. The oil rubbed finish looks great and matches the fittings in my shower. Being not made of stainless steel gives it less of a "medical" type of device. Quality seems good. Recommend this!

Installed this on elderly father’s bedroom dresser as a safety measure for him to hold as her enters the room. Perfect for what he needed, except the attachment screws were missing from the box! No instructions, although they were not needed. Bar is black with subtle copper undertones. Nice quality. At first I was concerned because it seemed lightweight and thin. After installing snd securing it on studs, the grip bar is pretty stable and can hold my weight. Love the black color!

I need grab bars to pull my self up in the bathroom. I bought these for their strength and because the bronze/brown looked good with my bathroom wallpaper. I purchased a 12” , now I need a 16” that will be placed horizontally. This one is very sturdy and attractive.
